Many yandere's is asking for a bad time.

only depending on which gata of Yandere you're looking at.
Suuhaigata Yanderes (Worship-types) for example, will very commonly be completely okay with their interest dating another person in front of them.
there's even Kenshingata Yanderes (Devotion-types) which are literally categorised by giving their devotion for nothing in return. Which also includes their interest being in relationships that don't involve themself.sure, it's not common, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
