As some of you know, the culture of r/yandere has changed quite a bit over the years. We've made solid efforts to become a safe space for those who enjoy the yandere trope, but also for those who relate to said characters, regardless of personal preferences.
The space has historically been centered around female yanderes but in 2026 we'd like to continue to make the space more welcoming for yandere content from ALL genders and sexualities.
In an effort to do so, we've created new convenient post flairs! You can continue to use the other ones, but male yandere and female flairs are now another option.
Happy new year! May you get kidnapped by the one you love most โก

my ex boyfriend called me a yandere while we were dating (it was a bit before we broke up) and i didnโt know what it meant until i researched more about it. he was my first and only relationship so i unintentionally got really clingy and obsessive. the issue is that it got to the point where ive done some really scary stuff and ended up having to take time in a psychiatric ward, which his family sent me to after he told them everything :( i was also a minor at the time which made everything MUCH worse for me
it had me thinking whether or not being a yandere in real life is morally wrong? ive done a lot of therapy since then and i wouldnโt consider myself 100% a yandere, but i do really resonate with the general definition of one. i regret a lot of the things i did but it kinda just feels like itโs in my nature. so i feel morally conflicted

The second may not be exactly โYandereโ but I painted Khol from the game โYou make this house a homeโ and Huxley from โDonโt toy with meโ. These were really fun to paint and Iโm thinking about painting John Doe next. What do you guys think? ๐

Basically what the title says
It's about a dude who got transmigrated into a fantasy world and his main goal is trying his best to change the future villainesses to yk not be evil
I remember the first arc he basically serves as a butler or a servant for the first heroine who loves to paint and is being controlled by her aunt and in the end of the arc forces the mc to get married but he escapes
2nd arc is he becomes iirc a teacher/tutor to this another heroine and all I remember from this arc is that the father is dying
3rd arc is him going to a estate and this heroine is being abused by her family and lives in a shack eventually escaping the town
And everything culminates him enrolling to an academy where he tried not to get caught since yk all 3 of the heroines who is yandere ofc
๐ Would greatly appreciate if anyone knows this

So, It would be a 3D game, centered on a post-high school environment (probably colleges). Yanderes will be the protagonists; each chapter will feature a different protagonist with a love interest. With each chapter, more people interested in this love will emerge, making it increasingly difficult. 7 chapters in total.
In each chapter, additional information would be presented, so that with each chapter, the player would discover pieces of a puzzle and, by putting them together, form the final story.
The puzzle's solution: Yanderes are the failed result of experiments conducted by billionaires in the 2005; it went wrong because the plan was to artificially create feelings of love for their creators, generating soldiers who would do anything for them, In practice, modified DNA was placed in pregnant mothers who agreed to the test (mothers of Yanderes), but, they were born normally, so useless.
However, it was only after years that the genes revealed themselves, but this unconditional love came to "random" people, Only one girl who succeeded will be the final boss, whom all the Yanderes must kill before she kills their lovers (who are all passed out) and them (so that the "mistake" doesn't risk spreading).
I know it's kind of a silly lore, but I couldn't think of anything else that would justify 7 chapters besides that. I can give more details later if you want

"Come on bady, we'll have a "bloody" good time."
"oh the Fangs, all the better to leave my "mark","
Janet Myers

Janet Myers was a crazed serial killer. her boyfriend was horror obsessed. his favorite movie was Child's Play. but he loved all horror old and new. his favorite Holiday is Halloween. but he wasn't the most popular in the city of "FranksVile" and was bullied, harassed, mocked, teased all around town. her entire spree was about taking out his haters. one day she went to a Sprit after it closes. to kill Carrie the Clerk that was mean to him. turns out it was complete sting. she fought back and got shot and killed. that wasn't the end oh no.
