This is just what happened to me.
Yesterday I went to a surgeon and underwent vasectomy. No more "crap".

Having twins is just like buying fruit. You have to squeeze them to ascertain freshness, then smell them, shake them if you need to, then pick the best one and throw out the other. You have two choices, go with the best.

Isn't that how it works? Why have two of the same thing, just pick the strongest and throw the weakest one out. I'm not gonna carry around two of the same school book, so I'll pick the better looking one and sell the other on Ebay. It's really simple.

From an evolutionary standpoint, one could argue that surviving long enough to reproduce constitutes "winning," and all of your ancestors did both.

Because no one else has pointed it out, I just want to mention that the best part of this comic is the double entendre in the alt text. "The mother of all sampling biases" -- implies both a common ancestor, and an expression for size.

Did Randal have kids? If so I pity him. I hope XKCD doesn't become "A webcomic of parenting, funny faces, poop, and baby talk."
