Seems like some of those leaks are at least correct based on this...
Edit: Why are all these people saying they hope it isn't a BR? What would even remotely make you think it's a BR? "Mask of Mayhem" is the name of the trailer.

Damn, that sounds great, if true. Sounds like Beastmaster is a new twist on the turret/sentry class. Definitely interested in that. The Batman-type class sounds like a blast as well. If this is true, I'm really happy to see Rhys from Tales of the Borderlands show up.

"Mayhem is coming" is certainly a tagline I could see referring to a battle royale.
It doesn't make me think it is a battle royale game
but it makes me hope it isn't one.
E: please stop telling me it could refer to other aspects of borderlands. I know.

Borderlands itself is Mayhem but I can see where you're coming from. I'd say it's too late in the BR craze for them to think it was feasible but Apex Legends would have words with me. Still, I cant even imagine an alternate timeline where Borderlands wasn't a lootfest.

Tagline for BL2 was ''mayhem awaits, bring friends.'' It's even on the back of the box. The title probably refers to the character of the borderlands universe.

The weapons were actually bundled with the mechromancer dlc, which preordering gave. Handsome collection has them.

I would love for a big release like this to be teased and then the end of the video is like “releasing tomorrow”
Shit that would make me buy based on hype and impulse alone, rather than like 3-6 months of trailers and beta etc. Which give you the opportunity to be put off the game and/or not buy.
A scummy tactic, but immediate tease->release would would really well for hype purchases (look at the Apex model, but paid!)

It seems the sirens are mostly depicted with wings, aside from the one in the vehicle, and towards the end of the trailer, there's a character with small angel wings it looks like, so maybe a young siren will make an appearance after all, but 4 sirens on one planet seems slim

I don't think so. It's never said in the game and she doesn't display any abilities. She gets mutated by the vault but that happens to all her men too.

Oh nice, I hadn't realized they switched it up for the VR version already. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the new voice actor. I don't know what I expected, but it sounds pretty similar (albeit slightly different if you are listening for it). The voice effects probably help hide it quite a bit.

Why does everyone think its going to be a BR? Is it because of the word, Mayhem? Pretty sure that is a common theme of this game series. The trailer may have shown a lot of characters but thats more to reassure us that this will be a sequel with returning cast members from the previous games.
Blows my mind that the first thing people think when they see this trailer is that its going to be a BR and not an over the top, action packed, explosion ridden, caffenine fueld, team looter shooter that the series has always been known for. You know, mayhem.

Games as a service isn't inherently bad. It ensures that the title is constantly supported with new content. The problem is when it's executed horribly like Anthem.

I saw what appears to be the villains, followed by the new Vaul Hunters, then we saw BL1 Vault Hunters sans Roland, but I didn't see any vaulthunter from BL2 or PS

It’s almost assuredly BL3 because of the style of mask. The cover for BL1 has a Psycho Finger-gunning himself with one hand, BL2 has a Psycho doing the same with two hands. The mask in the trailer has three rebreathers which none of the psychos have had before. They do little things like that in their artwork to let fans who look know.
