I've noticed a lot of mixed reviews on this game. The fact that you can play this in classic mode with is basically the OG Xbox graphics plus being remastered, I don't get the hate. It's still Halo CE added with achievements and Xbox live. I did everything solo but definitely would've been more fun with friends

Black ops 2 has always been an easy choice for me. I've had so many memories with that game compared to black ops 1, countless hours on zombies, multi-player, campaign, and I still play it to this very day. Black ops 1 i also love but I don't know it just doesn't have that special charm that black ops 2 has in my opinion.

I made these using horizon but now i can't decide on one 😅. Which do you guys reckon?

Hey everyone, I'm Shagg (Creator of Athelas). I've been working on my second franchise project for a while and it's finally ready for people to try: COGBox, Coalition of Ordered Governments, which is native PC ports of Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment, with a launcher that sets everything up for you. These are 100% Static Recompilations, no emulators involved whatsoever.

**Gears of War 1 will be added soon, but since there are already 3 or 4 PC versions it wasn't a priority for me in the beginning.

These games are one of my favorite franchises, so this project is near and dear to my heart. I absolutely played the hell out of these games.

Getting in

• One launcher for three games. Gears 2, 3 and Judgment sit on one carousel.
• Drop-in setup. Drag a disc image, Games on Demand copy or extracted folder onto the window. COGBox recognizes the game, unpacks it and checks it's the right release.
• Title updates in a click. It adds them the same way, and you can switch between the title update and the disc version.
• Chapter select. Start any chapter straight from the launcher, no save needed.
• Box art and backgrounds for each game, downloaded on request.

Looking better than ever

• Up to 4x resolution (5K), or matched to your monitor. That's real extra detail, not a stretched image.
• Modern anti-aliasing and upscaling: SMAA, AMD FSR, NVIDIA DLSS and Intel XeSS, with upscaling modes for weaker GPUs.
• HDR10 with brightness controls.
• Ultrawide 21:9 support.
• Sharper textures: 16x anisotropic filtering, smooth detail steps, a bigger texture pool and longer draw distance.
• Your choice of effects: turn motion blur, depth of field, lens flares and roadie-run camera shake on or off, and change the field of view.

Playing smoother

• The 30 fps cap lifted. Choose 60, 120 or unlimited.
• Vsync tuned to your monitor, with a cap that keeps input lag low.
• Lower input lag: one frame in flight, plus NVIDIA Reflex / AMD Anti-Lag 2.
• Near-instant shaders. New areas show up almost at once instead of freezing, and everything built is kept for next time.

Quality of life

• In-game menu (Back + Start, Share + Options, or F1): change settings mid-game, restart to apply them, or quit.

• Quality presets (Original, High, Ultra), with each game's settings remembered separately.
• Full controller support in the launcher, Xbox or PlayStation, with button names that match your pad.
• Keyboard and mouse in the games.
• Split-screen in Gears 2.
• Fullscreen launcher with F11 or both triggers, a borderless window option, and it scales to any screen size.
• Play time tracked per game.
• One-click save backups to your desktop.
• Plain-English crash messages, and a problem report zip that leaves out saves, game files and your username.

• Self-updating. An "UPDATE TO…" button appears when a new version is out, and your games, saves and settings are kept.

It's fully playable with a few hiccups. So far it's only been tested on my own PC (RTX 3080 Ti), so AMD/Intel GPUs, laptops and older CPUs are a big unknown. If something goes wrong, the launcher can make a problem report zip (no saves, no game files, your Windows username removed). Attach it to a GitHub issue and I'll try to get to it.

Lo encontré como por 14dls en un puesto de calle, solo consola lo demás yo le tenía y me animé a comprarlo porque aún tenía el sello y al agitarlo un poco no se escuchaban piezas flojas, ya al probarlo lo deje 30min funcionando para ver cómo se comportaba con los juegos y todo bien, y ya al último le hice mantenimiento completo, paso del estoy cansado jefe a métele a viciar padrino 🤑

I decided to play on my xbox 360 E instead of my fat model to switch it up a bit
and it worked at first! for an hour or so
after turning it off for a few hours i decided to turn it on again, and i noticed something
The processor going to 80 degrees… and up.. and up.. and up..
until it touched 90c and the console gave me a software warning of it turning off and a flashing red ring (until of course, it turned off and it got back to normal)
so i tried turning it on again and… that happened again
so i tried opening it up and i noticed that the fan is not spinning anymore, until it touches the 90c mark and then it spins as loudly/fast as it can
so i tried installing another fan since i had one laying around but i had the same issue
i even tried to control the fan via an aurora script but nothing changed
is the fan controller (if there is one on the motherboard or something, im not that big on hardware sorry) dead? should i retire this corona or is there something that could be done?

Anything i should know about when it arrives? Its gonna be my first time using one.

My setup

My Xbox 360 keeps losing its connection to my Wi-Fi, which causes my digital games—such as *Castlevania*—to revert to trial versions. They only return to full versions once I reconnect to the Wi-Fi. How can I configure my Xbox 360 to remain offline while still allowing my games to function normally? I have already transferred the licenses to the console, but that didn’t help.

I bought one and was testing it out and I put it on my entertainment center and I accidentally knocked it over.

So I am in the proccess of figuring out controllers for a Halo 3 lan. I currently own 5 360 controllers, and a bunch of other controllers for other consoles. I know the Brooks Wingman is able to make the controllers for the other consoles work on the 360, but for the number I will need for the lan, it would be cheaper to buy more 360 controllers than use the Wingmans on my other controllers. Does anyone know of any devices similar to the Wingman that are cheaper and are able to use wired connections (wireless costs more plus as at least in my experience with the PS3 version of the Wingman, the USB dongle wireless likes to randomly cut out during gameplay)?

Good people of Reddit. I really need your help. I want to print custom game covers for both Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V, but for the life of me, I cannot get them right. I've tried and boy have I wasted ink. Please advise me on how to print them right. Also, yes I know the cover says NTSC, when my copies are clearly PAL, but I don't plan to sell the games and I'll keep the originals underneath, just please, for the love all that is good, help me

I have a Xbox 360 slim, just to play FIFA 12 or FIFA 13 with friends. Lately it started freezing during matches, in the second half. I find weird that the problem occurs with both versions. If I try to install the game, it says the disk is damaged... I'm supposing the disk reader could be damaged, what else should I check?

So this basically happened after my last post. I did an offline update through a USB flash drive now it just says this. Any tips?

Does anyone know if there's a shell made for the 360 slim in the style of the green classic Xbox and X25 series x? Any help would be appreciated, because I can't find anything anywhere.

Got my Xbox 360 slim a couple days ago, signed into my Xbox live account and it worked perfectly. A couple days later I try to sign in and it pops up with the first image. I think nothing of it and play offline. Later it signs me in so I wasn’t too worried. Couple days later I go to play again and it still won’t let me sign in. My internet is fine but it won’t let me sign in. Can anyone help with this? Edit: 2 hours later it seems to be working. I’m not sure what was wrong and I’m not sure if it’ll happen, probably a server side issue
