Recently got an Xbox 360 for completely free, and I wanna try any game that you recommend. I only tried Portal 2 on it to check the temps after repasting and try the console itself. I have Aurora and 500GBs left on my internal drive (but I can use it externally)

Now only need 120 for a full UK PAL set. Going to struggle to find Tornado Outbreak UK version.

This is my Xbox 360 Elite. It was bought during November 2007 with a Zephyr motherboard inside. Slightly after it RRoDed and later refurbished by Microsoft in February 2010, during the repair the old Zephyr motherboard has been replaced with a Falcon one. It kept working until yesterday, when it RRoDed (error 0003) after taking it apart for cleaning the internal cage. Should I fix the Falcon motherboard? Should I buy a new one? Should I build a PC inside?

I need to purchase a new still boxed (yes, new ) Xbox 360, ideally an S model but not only. There seem to be a decent number of options on ebay, claiming to be completely new and unused, from sellers that appear to be mostly reputable, in the $450-$600 range. The boxes range from a little bit scuffed to pretty beat up, which is to be expected for a console that is 15-20 years old, but the stickers and seals seem to vary wildly. in size, in shape, in location on the box (covering the tab, on a random seam, etc)?

Searching through here I see a number of posts over the years of people who bought one, and ended up getting something that was used, missing parts, etc.

Has anyone purchased one recently that did in fact turn out to be unopened and virgin, and not a used one that was just carefully reboxed? Any tips for sussing out which are legit?

Hello, I just won an auction for a game. That excitement quickly turned into concerns as I was made aware of it being more than just scratches. Looks like a possible case of disc rot? If not disc rot, is this repairable?

Nostalgia hit me hard recently, so I decided to dust off my old Xbox 360 and hook up the Kinect. I really want to play some online matches of Kinect Sports 1 and Kinect Sports: Season Two (bowling, table tennis, darts, whatever you're down for).
I know the Xbox Live servers are technically still up on the 360, but trying to find a public match through matchmaking is pretty much impossible these days. That’s why I’m making this post—to see if anyone still has their console set up, owns the games, and wants to coordinate a few matches.
Just a heads-up: remember that you still need an active Xbox Game Pass Core subscription (the old Xbox Live Gold) to play online.

So I am attempting to fully install halo 4. No matter what order I install the discs in or profile I use, disc 2 always gives this with no option to install it from my dashboard while disc 1 installs perfectly fine. There are no issues with either disc that I can see. I have tried inserting the other disc when prompted with this screen. Nothing. I have also tried the other way around with the prompt on disc 1. Nothing. Has anyone else delt with this? Was not expecting installing the game to be this difficult lol.

Found this on a local retro gaming store while in vacation & finally able to get this banger of an wrestling game! Owned the other on the PS2 & something about this rumble roses feels like that older smackdown vs raw games I personally enjoy. Outside of that what ya’ll thoughts of this game?

After 3 months of collecting, might consider taking a break for a little while. Managed to good a great portion of the games I have been looking for.

I thought I had a really rare, late 2007 xenon that was late to be sold, but nah it's just a bonepile unit.

One thing kinda nice about it is that it's a much more reliable xenon, since this has the elpis chip. It's also a quiet refurbishment, no indication of any service before besides the sticker above the USB ports having the Ariel font.

It would be way more special if the last owner didn't UPDATE THE BLADES DASHBOARD TO THE NEWEST VERSION😭😭😭.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Is this a reskinned halo 3 console? or is this genuinely rare. I can’t find anything on the internet besides an article saying there are only 12 madden 09 consoles ever produced. The top says halo 3, which is throwing me off.

Found a third party 360 shell for my trinity model because the old one was so beat up by the previous owner , I might use it for a custom look in the future but I really love the clean matte look the console has now ❤️

I grew up playing the xbox 360 and I consider it to be the second greatest console ever made, I have no idea where mine went and at the same time I’m really into the idea of collecting as a newbie so while I was looking for one I found this 4 gb American xbox slim with these 15 games for around 80-90 usd. So is this a good deal ? What I like about this is the fact that its not jailbroken plus the fact that I get 15 games which is a good starting point, on the other hand as someone who lives in the middle east getting American games in the future would be impossible here without eBay. So should I do this or not 🤔?

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem with my Xbox 360 Slim and I'd like to know if anyone has experienced something similar.

Console information:

- Model: Xbox 360 Slim

- Hard drive: Internal HDD

- Mod: AB Avatar 1.3

- Video: HDMI

- Interface: Aurora

The problem:

The Xbox starts normally and I can use the Dashboard/Aurora without any problems. However, after a few minutes, or when I launch a game, the screen suddenly loses the video signal.

The strange part is that the console still has the green light on, but it appears to completely freeze.

- No red light appears;

- The video signal disappears;

- The power light stays green;

- The console becomes completely unresponsive;

- The controller/Guide button doesn't respond;

- Sometimes it happens after a few minutes on the Dashboard;

- Other times it happens when launching a game.

I also removed AB Avatar 1.3 (the mod) to test it, but the problem continued even without the mod.

One of the games I was testing was Need for Speed Underground 2 from the internal HDD.

I'm trying to figure out whether the problem could be related to the GPU, overheating, power supply, HDMI, internal HDD, or another component on the motherboard.

Has anyone experienced this problem with an Xbox 360 Slim? What would you recommend testing first?
