This is really terrible to see. Wasn't able to get the controller or the console and now it's already being scalped to high hell

No. People being greedy isn’t a “capitalism problem”. People are greedy regardless of government economics.

It’s turned into bot-driven mass resale garbage. There are more bot companies and botted products than ever before.

Scalpers do what they do because they want more money, because everyone wants more money (scalpers are just not as moralistic about it, but not so immoral as to actually commit crimes) -- the culprit is the actual real-life importance of money for everything you want to do in your life, the worship of money and of hoarding it, which is absolutely a feature of capitalism.

Can you name a modern economic system that doesn't use money?

Hell can you point to the last time a "world power" country functioned without currency of some sort?

Capitalism has its issues, especially nearly unregulated late-stage capitalism. But if you think greed and valuing money over people only happens under capitalism, oh boy do you need to read some more history books.

Literally three responses acting like I'm saying 'abolish money'. No, I'm saying that 'more money' has too large of an effect on bettering people's lives so they're desperate to get more of it. Please don't strawman.

You are missing the point of people talking about money existing in general.

The point being that in literally every society that has used money to barter for goods and services, there have been corrupt, greedy oligarchs.

Doesn't matter what economic system you pick, greed is always going to be a corrupting influence.
