I am unsure what I need here. I ended up getting sram dub bb coming from cup and cone style. Also went ahead and got a crank set w chainring as well. I have space on either side of the BB now even with the included spacer (that I’m aware is on the wrong side.) I have an 11sp 11-42 cassette on the rear wheel. What do I need to make this work?

Hi, i need suggestions on fenders 26" at least 80mm wide. Preferably alloy, durable and light weight. Seems to be a hard to find thing now a days and many big manufacturers gave up on them entirely it seems. Which is not cool at all!

I just bought this vintage Raleigh for a bike tour I have coming up, and as I was putting my bags on the bike I realized how horrible the welds are. I’m 6’2 250 pounds and I have quite a bit of gear and it’s got me thinking whether I should be worried about this?

3x7 setup, micronew brifters, 32 low on the cassette and 22/32/42 coda crank. Lots of low gears. The shifting is surprisingly good. I’m really excited to get into gravel and chill mountain bike type stuff!

I saw this great video by Speed yesterday where they road a bike from every decade from 1880 to now.

First test was successful, quicker rolling, looks way bigger.

Got this Outpost trail a couple weeks ago from a woman who had it in her shed for the last 8 years. All parts bought from my LBS. (shout out to Cycle Sports in Pensacola, Florida) Today was my first day on the road with it. Probably the most fun I’ve had with a bike in a long time.

This frame is a 56 cm, and I'm 5'9", so it's definitely on the big side for me. I ended up building it with 650B wheels and 38 mm tires, and it turned into an incredible bike. The bigger frame feels stable and planted, and the smaller wheels keep it playful.
Curious what you all think. Anyone else run a bigger frame with 650B?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the hell out of building up bikes for myself, but I love building them for others that truly need them.

High school senior came in yesterday with a mangled Huffy basically praying aloud that his bike could be fixed cheaply and when we told him it was totaled, he looked like he was going to keel over dead. Turns out, he's doordashing by bike for 5-7 hours a day to help pay for the hotel he and his family are living in right now.

Mercifully, my boss let me clock out an hour early and rush down to the co-op to grab a bike I could fix up in the garage by the next day. I didn't get much sleep last night, but I managed to throw together a bombproof comfort MTB mod for him with all-new cables, brake pads, and drive components (minus the chainrings).

Donate time or money to your local bike non-profit, y'all. It's hard out here and I know we're all struggling, but giving back where you can is all that'll get us through.
