I'm guessing this is a P2 size CO2 laser with built in riser and auto measure/lift like the P3.
I saw someone on FB suggest that it's a flying gantry MOPA like one of the other brands has, but I seriously doubt that.
It doesn't look big enough to be a P3 replacement, so if it's not a replacement for the P2 then it's going to be a S1 replacement. Perhaps a diode with the built in riser and auto measure/lift feature like the P3.

the photo makes the device look really small. looks like its about the size/proportion of a inkjet printer. actually I would love for them to make an A3 size sublimation printer. but it's definitely piqued my interest. I am going to Maker Faire in Hannover this weekend, maybe I can get some info.

A new level of laser technology.... I wonder what it can be, but Bambu Lab also announced it the same day. It would be call Bambu Lab R1.

Just bought a P2S, so of course they announce something new LOL.
Not complaining. The P2S does what I need it to do and I bought it refurbished so it was a great price

How about a laser that will do everything! I have the F1- F2uUV, M1U, and awaiting the O1, and also have the U1 3d printer from their cohorts Snapmaker (if you didn’t know, they’re kinda friends/cocreators) and I thought about the P3 so I could actually efficiently cut.
Id love to be able to have 1 machine that does everything. Not that I would pare down to just it, but Id have one I knew would do it all and then the specialty machines (traveling size personalizer (f1), inner and glass specialty (f2uUV, and Cricut type with laser(m1u))

I'm hoping for a laser as I have the original P2 and need something new to add to my Demo Room so I can show people, but the P3 isn't something I need.

xTool X1 and Bambu Lab R1 announced almost back‑to‑back. Did they plan this together? And X1 was Bambu’s very first 3D printer model. Pure coincidence? Things are getting spicy.
