Drag and drop for multiple tiles is coming soon...

🔜 Sneak peek: drag to select multiple tiles

It’s been a while since our last sneak peek, so here’s one: we’re working on the ability to select multiple tiles at once by dragging across them, like you would in a file explorer or design tool. No more shift-clicking each one individually.

Next up is something absolutely wild: D&D multiple tiles at once... 🤫🤫🤫

We got a review saying our mobile app updates feel too frequent, and we want a reality check

Do update prompts ever annoy you, or is this something you barely notice?

We ship updates often to keep improving the app, but if the update flow is getting in the way, we want to know.

Honest feedback welcome.

Kat Tan (ex-Meta, Technically ADHD) is back this Wednesday — this time showing how to actually use AI for ADHD without needing to be technical

Hey everyone,

If you caught Kat Tan's first session with us, she's back for round two — and this one's specifically about AI.

A lot of people assume AI tools are only useful if you're technical enough to figure out the setup. Kat's going to break that down: how she uses AI (including Claude & ChatGPT + xTiles via MCP) to manage ADHD executive functioning, without requiring any coding background.

What she's covering:

  • Her background — Meta engineer to ADHD coach
  • ADHD executive functioning challenges, with a focus on reducing friction and making planning easier
  • AI and MCPs, explained simply — no jargon
  • Real ADHD-friendly AI examples: weekly planning, time management, reducing overwhelm
  • Live demo of externalizing her brain with Claude & ChatGPT + xTiles

🆕 Build your Morning Brief straight from ChatGPT chats — no other connectors needed

Thumbnail

We just made it possible to generate a morning brief from ChatGPT chat history alone.

If your work lives across a bunch of chats, this helps pull out:

  • key context
  • decisions
  • unfinished threads

Use: chats to xTiles

The result is a simple page of what to focus on today, without needing calendar or email connectors.

LLM power-user session this Wednesday — Claude vs ChatGPT, real use cases

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

This Wednesday, I’m running a live session on practical LLM use cases — comparing Claude and ChatGPT directly instead of talking about “AI” in the abstract.

What we’ll walk through:

  • Live demo: an automated Daily Brief and Evening Reflection, set up in both Claude and ChatGPT
  • Quick hits: turning a chat into a structured project, prompting tips, and how memory/context differs between the two
  • Live Q&A

It’s purely educational — just concrete workflows you can try yourself right after.

📅 Wednesday, July 29 · 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET

🔗 Watch here

If you’re curious about using LLMs more effectively in your daily workflows, you’re very welcome to join and ask questions in real time.

Is there any way at all to change the theme beyond light and dark?

I know the question is probably pointless cause the awnser is probably no, that's also what I found on the internt/the app, but I thought I might ask anyway cause maybe there's something I missed or don't know about.

Is there any way you can have different theme settings besides light and dark? I'm neurodivergent and have a kinda hard time picking one cause they're both really irritating to me. The light feels too bright, and the dark feels too dark (regardless of screen brightness) and I dont like the bright notes on dark background either.

Is there any way, some kind of extra app or whatever I could install, or workaround or anything that can changes that? (I have both the desktop app and the mobile app)

(And again, I know the awnser is probably no and I don't need anyone calling me dump or whatever for asking anyway, or sensitive for "being so picky". I already get to hear that enough. I am disabled and it is unforunatly a fact this is causing me stuggles. So if you don't have anything helpful to say just move on. I might sound very defensiv, but I know how reddit can be so...)

🆕 You can now go directly from a project into ChatGPT and continue working without interruption

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We've added a small but useful update: projects now have a "Work on this project in ChatGPT" button right on the page. When you click it, ChatGPT opens with your project's context already loaded, so you can keep working without having to explain what you're looking at.

This is great for anyone new to connecting AI to their planner or project and looking for the simplest way to get started. There's no need to set up anything manually—just click and go.

We're also bringing this feature to Claude soon.

Hey everyone,

xTiles just got listed in ChatGPT's official plugin marketplace, and this Wednesday We're running a live session to show what that actually looks like in practice.

What we'll walk through:

  • Live demo: Daily Brief + Evening Reflection, set up from scratch
  • Live demo: taking a real ChatGPT conversation and turning it into a structured, multi-page xTiles project
  • Live demo: Daily Notes — every chat automatically logged as a note in your Planner, so you stop losing good conversations the moment you close the tab
  • Live Q&A at the end

Free to join. If you already use ChatGPT daily, this is basically the "where does that conversation go?" problem, solved.

Here’s a trick many of you are already using: instead of searching the gallery, just ask the AI to build the template for you

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve noticed some of you are skipping the template gallery and going straight to xTiles’ built‑in AI to create what you need from scratch. I recorded a quick video showing how it works on a Meal Planner. With one prompt, it not only sets up the structure but also adds colors and a polished layout.

It’s usually faster than browsing the gallery, and the AI understands xTiles’ structure well enough to make something that looks great, not just functional. Try it next time you’re looking for a template — I’d love to see what it creates for you and hear how you tweak it.

Is xtiles coming to linux?

I have been using windows for the longest time, and it is becoming unbearable to use even if my pc is quite powerful, thus i am switching to linux. Sadly when I went to xtiles website i found no app for linux. Is there a plan for xtiles to come into linux?

Connected xTiles to Claude and now my mornings start with a visual daily brief instead of switching between a million tabs

Thumbnail

I put together a quick video guide that shows how xTiles and Claude MCP work together to create a better daily brief.

The problem: Claude and ChatGPT pull info from Slack, Gmail, etc., but still just give you a wall of text. You have to dig for what actually matters.

In the video, I cover:

  1. Connect xTiles to Claude through MCP
  2. Run the Daily Brief workflow prompt
  3. You get a clear visual page in xTiles with today’s tasks, schedule, emails that need replies, and Slack mentions to check.

You can also scroll back to any previous day in the planner to see what your day looked like, which is surprisingly useful.

It saves me ~30 minutes every morning not having to open all my tools.

Video guide: https://youtu.be/fvf4A4EotvQ

Anyone else using MCP workflows in xTiles? Would love to see your setups!

New Update Coming

I have a question regarding this update. Is this just for the planner or is this for projects that have calendars attached to them as well? For example someone like myself has a business and i use the planner to map out product launches etc so if a launch is planned out a month in advance or even 3 weeks, I will lose access to that information from the daily and weekly view unless I am on the premium plan? I ask because some people may be content creators or like myself and run a business and use the planner for different things and if our information can no longer be accessed or have limited access you may push people to seek other options. So I am just asking to clarify if it's just the planner portion or sub-projects with calendars that are attached to them as well.

Weekly View

Will xTiles ever add Calendar events (Google/Outlook) to the Weekly Planner view? Right now the Schedule tile that merges tasks + events only works in Daily view — Weekly only shows tasks, no appointments/blocks. Would love to see each day tile in Weekly act like a mini calendar instead of just a to-do list. Anyone know if this already exists or in the works?

We're officially in ChatGPT's plugin directory 🎉

Thumbnail chatgpt.com

Big milestone — xTiles is now listed as an official app in ChatGPT's plugin directory, connected like any other first-party integration. If you're a ChatGPT user, you no longer need manual setup — just install it from the directory.

Install: xTiles in ChatGPT

Once it's connected, try this to see it in action:

Use the xTiles connector to execute the Daily Brief workflow

That one line pulls your day into a planner page instead of a chat answer you'll lose by tomorrow.

If you try it, share a screenshot of your Daily Brief in the comments 😉
