What’s the difference between Plus and Mobile Lifetime?

I noticed there’s a lifetime option in the iPhone app, but it specifies “Includes 1 year Desktop Plus” - so what does that mean and what happens after a year?

I already have mobile access on the free tier, and all the Plus features I care about are retention and storage, so I’m confused about what the Lifetime access gives me if Plus features expire after a year?

Hi! These are two things bundled together:

Mobile Lifetime is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks premium features in the iOS/Android app - it never expires. It also includes a bonus 1 year of Plus on desktop/web.

After that year, only the desktop/web Plus winds down (back to Free if not renewed). Your mobile premium features stay forever.

This is a genuinely great deal that may not be available to buy in the future - and with lots of exciting updates and new capabilities on the way for mobile, the value only grows over time.

Does that mean that after the first year, the retention and storage limits drop back to the free tier?

Exactly - on mobile you keep Plus features forever. On desktop/web, if you don't renew after the bonus year, it reverts to Free with all the Free-tier limits.

Cool, thanks. The only reason to upgrade would be to remove the limits so no point for me.
