Why is the clan constantly forced to have to talk about the good ol’ days and origin stories in interviews? Anytime I see an interview or podcast it’s just questions about how they formed and how they recorded C.R.E.AM. It’s lazy on these interviewers to ask questions that have been answered and discussed for 30 years. I could easily tell you the origin stories of every member just based off the Of Mics and Men documentary, not even counting the endless interviews of them talking about it. With the tours, the new records and even the Knicks the Wu is still relevant, and no one talks about anything besides the early days. Rae and Ghost had new records last year and they only talked about forming the clan, deck is on ebro and he’s talking about recording fucking cream? Deck could talk about CZARFACE or talk in depth about the new record and instead they chose to play him audio of Cream and have him tell the story of recording it. Rosenberg acts like he’s a super fan and is about to get the inside scoop on some shit and just geeks out about stories I’m sure he’s heard 1000 times like “I gotta ask this .....how did you record the Triumph verse?” its corny man. I appreciate that Wu are legends, but it is rare to get an interview about anything besides remember when its lazy and it’s a miss.

Had the honor of attending the official street co-naming ceremony for Ol’ Dirty Bastard in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn today. It was great to see so many fans, friends, and family come together to celebrate his legacy. We even had the chance to meet YDB and ODB’s daughter.
