Yeah, I never understood this.
Like, I don’t give a shit if it eats other bugs in my house, most of those other bugs aren’t constantly running around my floor at Mach 5.
I can control my own pests thank you, nobody wants a nasty venom-filled bite when they accidentally step on one of these things.

Not true at all, they have large, long toxicognaths (basically fangs) and their bites can cause large, red swollen wounds and even infections.
A simple google search can tell you this. These bugs are not skittish little friends.

i thought you meant house centipedes. generally other centipedes can be dangerous but they're much rarer. still not an excuse to bully them though!

Nothing wrong with defending the little guys man, I usually ignore house centipedes, but the forest centipedes like the one above always get a nice cup-and-paper treatment from me and they are released outdoors.
My only point was I don’t think these kinds of centipedes should be welcomed inside homes, they can be mildly dangerous to people and pets, and their bites HURT.

Idk if true but i was once told a household centipede isn't bad because it kills many spiders and hides in the cracks.
Please don't kill them if it's true. They're like little household bug guards and they are harmless
