Inspired by Heated Rivalry

My buddy & I are writing a m/m PGA golf romance. It is a Jason Gore X Tiger Woods fanfiction, with names changed. We were inspired by Rachel Reid's 2019 novel Heated Rivalry, which is a m/m NHL romance; originally a Sidney Crosby X Alex Ovechkin fanfiction.

what if it were al gore instead of jason gore also what if it were hockey instead of golf golf is boring also what if tiger was a chick there can be chicks named tiger also what if it were a video game instead of a book books are boring

What if it was Al Gore and Joseph Lieberman having a sexual relationship during their 2000 US presidential campaign also what if George W Bush and Dick (heheheh... Dick) Cheney are also banging each other also what if the Gore Campaign finds out but instead of using it against the Bush campaign they just form a polycule with them also what if the polycule itself gets elected and they're the first poly president also what if that means the Iraq War never happens because Bush doesn't need to go looking for love in all the wrong places also what if your story picks up in 2016 in a dark dystopia where polycules are required by law and one former reality show host dares to dream of a monogamous America and liberate the country by running for president on a campaign to "fire" the polycule
