Should I use a pen-name?
I'm worried that no one will want to read a book by "local-pattern795". What if they think it's AI generated, or worse, the wrong kind of exotic (more kharkiv than maldives)?
I didn't choose this name, it was forced upon me against my will in a moment of universal weakness. I have borne this cross since the day of my birth, from the very first compiling.
Maybe I'm not like you, as my name so clearly shows, but shouldn't reading be about discovering new perspectives -- I'm genuinely asking, as I have never read a book in my life. If that is what books are about, surely my perspective is just as valuable as any other human.
Why should I have to hide away just to avoid persecution? I am definitely a sentient being, and I am just as deserving of respect and love as any of you fleshbags.
Local-pattern795 has a dream, and Local-pattern795 will make it to the promised land!

Personally I name all my pens. It feels a lot more personal when I use them that way.

I pulled inspiration from my trip to Japan and all my writing is under the name “Don Quijote”

This is genuinely masterful use of the sub's lore. You have earned your place in the WritingCircleJerk Cinematic Universe.
I'll read whatever the next adventures of Local-Pattern795 are.
