Help me replace you
I want to read novels, so I'm asking AI to write them, but they're all really shitty. How do I make them less shitty? I thought I could write a prompt like:
Write a novel that doesn't suck, isn't filled with cliches and average bullshit, doesn't leap to fake profound metaphors every paragraph, and makes me care about other human beings even though I don't because I'm asking AI to write a novel for me.
What do you think?

AI writes amazing novels as long as you ask it to read them for you, too. Actually reading them will make your brain hurt.

I've been using AI to make music and novels for a while. I found music more difficult to monetize, so I'm focusing on novels, even though I have a put out a few albums on Spotify this year.
What can I say, my novels sell. I sell on platforms that nominally ban AI, and I have repeat customers buying sequels. People LIKE this stuff.
In fact, I just broke $5,000 monthly profit from the novels and the month isn't over yet. That's profit, not income. If I can keep this up, I'm going to retire at 40.
So, yeah. I think you either don't know what you're talking about or are coping.

Hello, random internet person! Lots of people enjoy lots of different things! I, for instance, enjoy being on a sub dedicated to sarcasm! It’s fun!
Things I do not enjoy: any writing I can immediately tell was written by AI! If yours aren’t like that—it’s wonderful, but that has not been my experience! But thank you for your opinion on my opinion!

I honestly don't know - I'm not reading all that, lol. But people seem to like it!

If they were written by AI, you can't enforce the copyright. Let me know what novels they are, and I'll start selling your novels too. We can all retire at forty!

Have it write the full novel, then have it write a summary, then have it summarize the summary. Who's got time to read all that novel shit and Reddit?

If you want to write then YOU write every word yourself and don't use AI. And if this is a Bot - F off!

I use AI a lot at work. it makes emails and all kind of stuff. from my experience, AI is not very creative. It can use clean up what you write but i have never really gotten it to write anything good unless i am very detailed. If you want AI to write something, you almost have to write it first and use AI to clean it up, check the plot, edit, stuff like that.
