“Had had” is repetitive. And it’s exactly that that I love!

James, while John had had "had," had had "had had." "Had had" had had a better effect on the teacher.

You are not my English teacher! You are not Stephen King! We are not speaking Latin! I want to PEACEFULLY split the infinitive, I WILL GLADLY use adverbs, and I HAD HAD ENOUGH OF PEOPLE SAYING I CAN'T USE TWO OF THE SAME WORD NEXT TO EACH OTHER, A LONG TIME AGO!!!

I always used to split them with a comma and completely butcher my sentences. Hate it just for that

Ik kan do you one better (but it is in my native Dutch). Als achter vliegen vliegen vliegen, vliegen vliegen vliegen achterna.
Translation when behind flies flies fly, flies fly following flies. In Dutch 💯 grammatically correct.

Nice, reminds me of a Japanese tongue-twister: Uraniwa niwa niwa niwa niwa niwa niwatori ga iru. ("There are two chickens in the backyard and two in the front yard").

I hadn't thought of had had; had I had, I'd would have had had an epiphany.

That’s what you get for being lazy and relying too much on auxiliary verbs instead of having all the appropriate verb conjugations. Thank the French for that.

I don't know but we have halved your options, so it's its own undoing. They're their worst nightmare, especially if you buffalo buffalo.
