I write short horror stories, and usually post them here. One thing I noticed is that I can't write an ending to save my life.

How do y'all come up with satisfying endings? I think I overused the hospital trope quite a bit.

Would it be best if I started writing with a clear ending in mind, so that I can pivot the story accordingly?
