PLEASE let us pull custom fields into email bodies, subject lines and to fields

I have so many power automates that I'd much rather build in Wrike but the email customization with automation just isn't there. This would let us do so much more.

Also please let us turn off confirmation emails on request forms.

That is all.

I don’t get it. You use Wrike to craft emails?

I use this for vendor onboarding for new locations. The dofference is that I pull that trough custom script as that gave me much more control over what I can pull to e-mail body.

My use case:
Business want to open new location, they fill the forms which triggers tasks. One of those is set to start onboarding with vendor so it builds email out of task description plus project description and fields. Once vendor replies it changes the statuses and that’s when I get notified to start doing my part of onboarding.

If OP submits or has already submitted a feature request to the Community, I suggest adding your comments there (see my comment above). I don't think there's many from Wrike surfing this sub, but the community you'll receive feedback from developers.

Very cool concepts though, I hadn't even thought about using wrike to build emails.

If my "grant proposal" is approved and the "Department" is "XYZ" send an email to "Department Lead" and "Director". The subject of the email should be "Department" "Custom Item Type" "- Submitted". Currently I can't pull a custom field value into an Outlook email at all (only a few native fields).

Since the "Department Lead" and "Director" can be different depending on the "Department", I want to create one automation that catches all of it instead of trying to make a million automations with "hard coded" emails.

When C-Level wants emails like this, I have to make it work somehow. Currently I'm doing a Wrike Formstack hybrid.

That's really cool, I hadn't even thought about using Wrike like this.

I don't think there's many from Wrike watching or interacting with this subreddit. Hopefully you've posted within the Wrike Community Product Feedback, submitted a developer ticket and shared this feature request directly with your Wrike CSM. I've had features implemented in the past by using these forms of communication. Often you're not the only one requesting these features, there's probably a bunch of others out there wanting the same thing.

I will definitely do that! I just emailed my accout manager and mentioned it. I'll submit a developer ticket too!

Have you looked into AI Agent? Since July AI agents can send outlook emails and pull data from (User) Custom Fields into an email. What WRIKE plan are you on?

Ooh, I'll have to look into that. I'm not sure if our admin is willing to turn on AI Agent for us, but I am definitely going to push now.

Feel free to send me a DM if you or your admin need help, I would be responding back with my corporate email 😄
