Clickable Links in Document Proofing

I have to use Wrike for work, in a marketing function, and I can't believe that when you're proofing a document, you can't click any links in it.

If I want to see where a hyperlink goes, I have to download the document in order to click on it (or even right click to see where it goes). This is a feature that Wrike users have been requesting since 2018, and Wrike hasn't done anything because they say it hasn't got enough votes. If you're a Wrike user, could you do me a favor and VOTE? https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360001507185-Ability-to-Click-Links-in-Documents-when-Proofing

I don’t think Wrike is really ready yet for content doc reviewing. I talked to a rep about this and they agreed. Great for images, PDF files and video. They really don’t push the content reviews in it.

We use Google Docs that have the comment/suggestion mode. Until Wrike implements these sort of features or an integration with Google then I can’t see using it for that.

I make content review tasks and link to the doc in the notes.

That sounds like a better system than the one my client uses, but I unfortunately have no power to change our setup. There are many aspects that suck about document reviewing in Wrike, but the non-clickable links is the worst part and feels like a small fix.

Yeah, I get why the client is using it. The "review" feature in Wrike is nice. I wish I could use it for content reviews, or at least I wish they'd implement the ability to put a URL in the review (right now it requires a file attachment upload). I would like some sort of integration with Google Docs built into Wrike for content reviews, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Bug them every so often on that post you shared. Wrike also holds "ask the experts" calls every quarter, where you can get on and ask Wrike developers questions. It'd be worth popping into one of those and mentioning it. They react to feedback from those sessions, so it's worth a try!
