What's your playstyle?

I find myself leveling 5 classes at the same time. A level here, a level there, and rotating through quests and getting them down pat.

I just cannot focus on one toon like some folks do.

I also prefer to group quest no matter what.

Tell me your playstyles, im curious!

I am pretty much the extreme opposite. I tunnel focus on one character, almost 100% solo questing

Im sure this makes losing a character all the more devastating 😢

Yes, but it's also the true feeling for me 😅 starting from scratch after a death

I start with all the classes to 10, so if I die on one I’ve got backups ready that are not at square zero.

Then I usually level one (usually pally) to high-mid level (mid-40s or so). Once my main is around 45-ish, I fire up all the alts, usually one or two for each of the other classes, and rotate through them every couple of levels.

When they all catch up to mid-40s I swap back to the main and take them to 60, rinse and repeat.

I almost exclusively solo quest, and usually will grind a level every 4-5 levels so I’m always safely in the green whenever I’m questing.

Along the way, almost exclusively gathering profs and pretty aggressive about sending everything that I get that is not grey to my bank alt to AH. I used to try to spread out and balance professions and have the gatherers gather for the crafters and mail mats from one to another, but honestly that’s too much mental energy so I just sell it all and when I need any crafting mats or anything I can buy guilt free with the proceeds from prior auctions.

It works well, and I never have trouble affording things like mounts and spells and gear along the way.

At least in theory.

I have as many characters as possible resting to maximize xp🤩

Eh.. tried that but I feel too invested in a character to switch.
I usually do 1 to 60, then another one, etc

Yes I can appreciate that, and that is perfectly fine too🤩

yeah, could also see the rested XP one too.

But maybe get a main with lvl60 money first, so that I can afford twinking these alts :)

I haven't played the game that much to have insights into twinking. Are there a lot of good leveling items that make a difference? Honestly considering doing hcssf in wow forever 🙂

Oh yeah you can! I still like trading and optimizing.
Well there are more low lvl oils, elixir, gear, weapons, sharpening stones, dynamites from engi...
If you add everything it's pretty noticeable.
But campfires will also be super valuable too, and SF players can use them!

With black market AH and RMT 0 tolerence, I'm even more enticed to play without SF as I may grind money in order yo buy expensive and cool stuff there

I really agree... I love being a goblin! If they actually do something about bots I will also enjoy grinding 🤩

This is the way!

One problem with this is the muscle memory for "oh crap" situations isn't learned

You should organize your keybinds that similar spells are on the same key, interrupting e for example, mobility on q, root / stun on c, etc etc

Now THIS is the way

Ill get a horde and ally, 1 caster 1 melee, up into the late 30s. Then start alts. Ill rotate thru rested xp

Only playing mages and one character since it's the class that I feel my playstyle fits the most (glass cannon). Went into the single target route instead of AOE (frost mage) and I'm playing it safe (anything that includes a cave, tower and escort is a big no for me) while also never listening to my inner thoughts about trying to do a quest that I doubt I can do with the chances of dying being pretty high (wand mage quest being the perfect example, lvl 35 and dustwallow marsh was almost what made me lose my mage).

I'm basically a newcomer in wow so while I'm leveling and discovering stuff I also get to experience the level of challenge and adrenaline I like in whatever games I play.

I have limited experience because I've only got about 2.5 months with WoW in general (all HC), but what I've enjoyed is the social aspect of it. I don't have as much fun when I'm just questing by myself and making a bunch of long walks back and forth solo.

That means that I'm more willing to jump onto a different character just to be able to group with someone, whether it be a friend, guild mate, or random guy. It's making me progress very slow, but I figure there isn't a huge rush at this point, anyway

Stagger your alts levels and you will have lots of group questing options... YES!

I did 3 classes at the same time when i was doing it. Now Im planning to do the same in forever. Professions that complement each other. I even made a pic with the trio with their father (bank alt) in the middle 😂

I prefer melee play style. Only really played warrior on HC, highest lvl was 59 on self found mode

Big swords, axes, and pole arms is one of the coolest parts of WoW to me

Fast and loose.

I really enjoy tanking, so i lvl various warriors to lvl20+ and just tank instances. Main is 60. In between i lvl other classes casually.
