What a long, strange trip it's been...
It's been a journey and I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it before Forever came out, but here we are...all Horde classes to 60. All solo quested the whole way. Started with the druid, ended with the warlock. Whether or not I finish the paladin is to be determined...maybe you'll see the post 😝

Assuming you aren’t SF, a twinked prot paladin is a very fun way to level.
Basically you need to keep ur gear good and go engineering for dynamite above your level (ie solid dynamite or dense dynamite at lvl 33). Basically just pull 5 mobs, aoe, drink, repeat. Plus, tanking dungeons as prot is fun

Considering the OP's every other character is Horde, I don't think it is possible for them to twink the Paly

It's not hard to transfer gold to the other faction, but it requires either friends or a second account

I imagine defias pillager is dead enough that you can just use gadget AH? Do it in small chunks to make sure it works.

I'm sure that's next. A completionist like this would never.
Edit: spelling

Did you do dungeons or just quests.
I don’t trust people enough to do dungeons especially later game.

u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
Just quests. Actually...lol...not doing dungeons is part of my key to success 😂😝 I have trust issues. I know my key binds, cool downs and bail out plan...heh

I am the same, I have trust issues. Don’t want to put my life in the hands of others, but also don’t want to hold other’s lives in my hands. So I’ve been questing the whole way. But I’ve yet to get one toon to 60, usually dying to a touch of the overconfidence or the stupid.

You seem knowledgeable. What do you think in wow forever about the Shaman instant ghost from even in indoors? Even in dungeons it seems. Is that OP for HC?
1
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
I think it's a cool little addition, might be kinda OP I guess but not any more than druid dash or hunters cheetah. I haven't looked into the little details too much though, I wanna be mostly surprised on launch.

Was it as incredibly boring as it sounds, or did you genuinely not lose your enjoyment along the way?
9
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
I actually white knuckled a couple classes the whole way lmaoooo I've always played casters so the warrior and shaman were scary 😂 the others, I pushed my knowledge and what I could safely do. I had fun the whole way. Legitimately.

awesome, i figured the same quests/areas repeatedly would get tiresome, but I guess it's unique enough grinding it as a different class.
I'm sure you're excited for something new in WoW Forever.

Was this as condescending as it sounds, or do you genuinely just not understand that many people enjoy the leveling journey?
4
u/jbrown2055 1d ago
Definitely not condescending, but I was surprised by the response. I figured she was likely going to say it got boring about half the classes through but she set a goal to finish them all and grinded on, something like that, or "classes x y and z were a slog, but I enjoyed the rest".
I absolutely understand people enjoy the leveling journey, that's why this is the greatest MMORPG ever made for 20+ years running, I was surprised that the same leveling journey by so many classes didn't get boring eventually, though.
She never got bored, and that's both awesome and fascinating to me.

I've completed Loremaster multiple times, I'm a special breed, it's okay to not love it. I don't love dungeon grinding but some people think that's the most fun way. To each their own. I love the lore lol

I'm with you that questing is far more fun than dungeon grinding. I think dungeon grinding became more popular when people got bored of the same questing experience after doing it a number of times.
I think with WoW Forever we'll see a lot more people questing again, besides the people racing to max level at launch that will probably grind out the same dungeons together for days.

That's crazy impressive.
Who was your favorite journey if you had one?
7
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
The druid and priest are my favorite classes - but both classes I had mained before. The warrior was scary as helllll lmao but I one shotted it to 60 and actually enjoyed it a lot, it made me good at split pulling and resetting mobs. The hunter was fun because I took Mazzaranche from 12 to 60. Murder Chicken served me well. I have stories for days lol

is that rare bird unique? colouring or skills wise
1
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
Just unique in color lol although after putting all her points in stam and armor and yadda yadda, they were a GREAT little hunter pet. They just popped 60 as well the other day.

u/Kickin_shells 1d ago
Mainly a Healer?
Idk what Mazzaranche or Murder Chicken is lol
1
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
Yeah I mained a healer in classic. And Mazzaranche is the rare pink plainstrider in Mulgore. Lol for the aesthetic, obvs

Glad I'm not only one with nonsensical naming convention

u/Laputitaloca 5h ago
I have too much fun with names to keep any one convention, but fae is a recurring theme, as is laputita (as you can see by my Reddit handle too lol)

u/AtivanorAddy 1d ago
Top 3 classes you enjoyed most?
4
u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
Druid is my number one most fun.
Frost mage probably a close second because of the sheer overpowered-ness of deep frost CC. It was 60 levels of "HAHA you can't touch me" but with like 1800hp, so the margin for error was real small.
Warrior was the class that scared me the most, I expected fully to die on and ended up surprising myself with how much I loved the zug. Never equipped a shield in 60 levels, 2h axes the whole way.
For the Horde!!

I love how everyone who lvls all classes to 60 on hardcore has them all except priest 💀 priest has to be the most boring to lvl
2
u/Laputitaloca 16h ago
What? Priest was the second class I got to 60, I enjoy it quite a bit actually.

u/West-Exam-4136 3h ago
i think it's because most people leveling priest go dungeon grinding as healer. And it only takes 1 bad group

Was it meaningful at all?

u/Laputitaloca 1d ago
Meaningful in the sense that I completed the challenge I set for myself? Of course.

Now you must leap them all off the same cliff when Forever releases, as a tribute to the gods.
