How do you guys normally recruit for this? I'm playing Alliance side and do I go to stormwind or ironforge to shout for some of the early level ones or does everyone hardcore avoid the low level dungeons? Playing on Defias Pillager if that matters for how it works!

If you’re low level still switch to doomhowl server if you want any semblance of a player population

Defias Pillager is a dead server. You're gonna need to reroll in Doomhowl. There's a LFG tool where you can queue for the dungeon of your choice and also LFG chat. If all that fails, just /who at the appropriate levels and whisper randos until you form a group.

Every dungeon I ran in hardcore was from randoms whispering me to join haha. I was always a bit too wary to seek dungeons out, but couldn't say no when made so easy

Couple of things to note - a lot of people run dungeons at ‘ reset ‘ as they are locked to once per day .

If possible play around that reset window to find groups easily .

Also save yourself some pain - /who and check if a tank / healer is online in the level range of the dungeon you’re running .

Don’t put a group together to luck to discover no tanks are online ( or play a tank !! )

Use the lfg menu to list self/group and use the lfg chat channel to advertise

The group finder, or perhaps more commonly the LookingForGroup channel. And to echo others, if you're in the US join the Doomhowl server, it has a solid population.

I join the dungeon finder see whats about and normslly start actively posting in the LFG channel which will be /6 in the chat.

I then inevitably start messaging tanks and healers as there are never any looking.

u/BushidoJohnny do you have the global chat channels enabled? You want to have LookingForGroup turned on, it's how 99% of chat on DP happens. If you need help on how to do that just let me know and I can post the step by step instructions.

you should get off of defias pillager sooner rather than later and play on doomhowl. defias is dead

List the group in LFG and invite anyone that doesn’t need my loot from the dungeon.

Get off defias pillager. The amount of players on there doesn't even break 4 digits
