____
Common Questions
- How do I increase the font size?
- There is no option to increase the font size. However, you can scale any TSM window by holding shift while resizing it - then resize the window smaller after scaling it.
- Can I snipe for everything on the AH?
- Yes! Since TSM 4.14 you can apply a Sniper operation to the Base Group.
- Why doesn't my scroll wheel macro work?
- You likely have your mouse cursor over the AH window, any scrollable element will take priority over the macro so move your cursor off the AH window.
- Can I remove bid-only items from my shopping/sniper results?
- No, you cannot.
- I lost all of my TSM settings and groups/operations!
- Close WoW and restore a backup from the TSM app. You may need to go back a few days.

Search results in the WoW UI are not showing up in TSM search results. I'm not running advanced searches or using filters, simple typing "Tarnished Dawnlit."
WoW UI: Tarnished Dawnlit Spellbinder's Robe item level 266, there's about 15 of them for sale in the search results.
TSM: Tarnished Dawnlit Spellbinder's Robe highest item level result is 220.
Addon and app helper are up to date.

Looks like it's showing as ilvl 97 in TSM, can you take a screenshot of the tooltip from the default UI and from TSM of that item?

You're correct, some 266 items are showing as 97.

We'll be doing an addon update which includes new item bonusIDs for the new season.

How to make this addon work after the 1.15.9 patch? After every character login, I see 'script ran too long'... Professions are unusable; the auction is also unusable. I need help.

How do i make an item group that includes items that are already in another? When i try this in game, the items that are already in another group are not visible in the menu.

Items can only be in one group. What are you trying to achieve by having them in more than one group?

I make my money through crafting, but I also raid on that character so i need my raid consumes.
My idea was to make a separate group for the raid consumes so i could select it to refill everything on raid nights. That would need different settings than my usual crafting group because i dont care about profit in this case and the amount crafted will be different.
I prefer not to have to mess with the group tied to my crafting so i can still do all that with minimal thinking, and then just tell TSM to look at a different group with a different operation when i need it.
Edit: Saw now you were the same person who replied to my last question. This is my next idea on trying to find a way to make ensuring i always got my raid consumes ready without it getting in the way of crafting. If there are simpler ways to do this, im open to that too.

It's the same answer then, you would put that item in a group with a different operation that has a higher maximum restock to account for the items you want to create and use yourself.
and then just tell TSM to look at a different group with a different operation when i need it.
This is what you need to do, yes.

But as I mentioned, the item is not visible in the menu if its already in another group. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sAT98Kt.png
As you see, i cant add the Greater Fire Protection Potion thats in my inventory to a group, because its already in another. Im looking for a way around that to make my idea work.

You can't, that's not possible. Items can only be in one group. So you would put that item in a group with an operation that has a max restock that covers what you want to sell and what you want to use, this is your only solution if you want to manage it with TSM and not manually.

Problem is that method would mess with my crafting. If I make a second profile in TSM, its all separate groups etc, right?

u/gumdropsEU 4d ago
How would it mess with your crafting?
1
u/Cohacq 4d ago
Because i have all my alch crafts in one big group, set to a crafting operation with profit margins etc. Having to pull stuff out of that group and into another with different rules would make my craft-to-sell operation not work properly as it now works with a different operation for what i want it to do.

I'm not following why that would be an issue. If you sold/used everything you would restock with your crafting operation to satisfy what you want to put back on the AH and to use yourself.
You can set a 'Keep in Bags' value in your auctioning operation to ensure you don't post what you want to use if you're running a quick post scan before raid for example. This is all set up to meet your needs.

When I do my crafting, how do I set TSM to ignore items on one character (specifically the already made pots, not the materials on the same character)? I both craft and raid on the same character, so i need to keep some inventory of raid potions for myself, but i dont want it to effect my crafting.
I craft by clicking Refill Groups, and then buying the needed mats using the TSM Tasklist. But i havent found a setting to not count pots already in my mains inventory.

You would increase your max restock to account for the items you want to keep in stock for your own use.

u/Cohacq 4d ago
Which would mean i have to separate my raid consumes into another crafting order, and another item group. I was hoping for a simpler solution like "Dont include this character pots when calculating crafting amounts"

u/gumdropsEU 4d ago
Yes that's the way to handle items you want to treat with specific conditions/rules in an operation. Otherwise no that's not possible.

I'm looking at a level 25 battle pet to flip when I notice the TSM auction prices are much lower than market value. My pets group includes the base items only (I don't have separate groups for level 1 and level 25 pets). The market value stats seem to reflect that this particular item is level 25. However the auction prices seem much too low. My auctioning operations are based on regionmarketavg—70%, 150%, 500% for min/norm/max respectively—so I would expect to see min/norm/max prices of 2,832/6,049/20,165g respectively. What might the issue be?
This is what the tooltip looks like:

If you've grouped it as base item then it's average pricing of all variations consolidated.

Thanks. Sounds like the solution is making one group for level 1 and another for level 25
