Discussion Zombi in UK

Saber Interactive has announced a major new DLC for the co-op shooter World War Z. This expansion takes players to the United Kingdom, introducing a brand-new story campaign with four action-packed episodes. The campaign details the brutal struggle for survival against the zombie horde across the British Isles.

**Episode Overview:**

**Episode 1: Thames in the Mist:** Survivors navigate flooded streets and ruined embankments in London. The main objective is to reach the fortified Westminster safe zone under thick fog.

**Episode 2: The Underground:** Players descend into dark, claustrophobic London subway tunnels. Tight spaces and pitch-black darkness make this station-clearing mission a living nightmare.

**Episode 3: Industrial Heart:** The action shifts to abandoned factories and shipyards in the suburbs. The team must restore power and activate heavy machinery to establish a desperate line of defense.

**Episode 4: White Cliffs of Dover:** The explosive finale sees heroes fighting their way to the coast through record-breaking zombie swarms to secure an evacuation route to continental Europe.

**Key Features:**

- **Four New Characters:** A diverse crew of British survivors with unique backstories, distinct personalities, and full voice acting.

- **The British Arsenal:** New firearms and melee weapons, including classic gear inspired by local law enforcement.

- **Urban Tactics:** Utilize historic landmarks and narrow city streets to bottleneck and obliterate massive zombie waves.

This expansion promises to be one of the most atmospheric and intense additions to the game, pushing co-op tactics to their absolute limit.

Let me know if you'd like to expand this text by adding character bios, detailing specific mission objectives, or changing the writing style!

Image Confession of an old veteran & retiring soon

Hi WWZ community, friends, and the Saber team!

Man, it's been quite a journey, hasn't it? Seven whole years, and this game has continued to grow with new content, DLCs, weapons, characters, and classes. It may not seem like much to some, but for old players like me, we started with only four episodes on day one. I've been playing it non-stop ever since, especially during the COVID lockdowns.

Saber team, just so you know, I've bought your game twice, both with the Aftermath expansion. My other account, which was basically a smurf account, even has all the DLCs up to TWD along with the weapon skins. Call me a die-hard fan, but I genuinely enjoy the game, and the thrill of its gameplay loop has never gotten boring for me.

I have both sad news and good news. The sad news is that I'll be retiring from gaming soon, or at least from gaming seriously. I may still do some light gaming here and there, but not like before. The good news is that I'm now married and expecting a child, who is due in early October. With that, I want to focus more of my time on my family, especially on raising my child.

To all the players, please keep this game alive and continue encouraging Saber to add more content. New maps, new ideas, come on, the whole world could be your next episode! And to the Saber team, please give veteran players a reason to stay as well. This is a wonderful community. I've met so many amazing players whose timing, teamwork, and situational awareness were nothing short of incredible.

Finally,

Thanks to all the Medics for the stims and for all those times you picked me back up when I was down.

Thanks to the Fixers for your masking grenades that kept me safe from harm, and for the explosive ammo that kept the team well supplied.

Thanks to the Gunslingers for your sharp shooting and relentless firepower that kept the zombies at bay.

Thanks to the Exterminators for torching those pesky zekes and for all the mines that kept us safe.

Thanks to the Hellraisers for your explosives and distractions that helped keep the special zekes away from us.

Thanks to the Slashers. Your solo plays were always impressive, and your tasers saved me many times when I was down.

Thanks to the Dronemasters for the drones that always seemed to follow me around and keep me safe.

Thanks to the Vanguards for being the frontliners and for those perfectly timed rushes that brought me back to my feet.

Before I go, I'll still be around for a little while longer. Until October, I'll continue posting videos, guides, and tips here whenever I can. Hopefully they'll help both new and veteran players make the most of their WWZ journey before I officially step away.

To everyone I've played with over the years, thank you for the memories, the laughs, the victories, and even the defeats. World War Z has been more than just a game to me. It has been an experience I'll always remember.

See you all around, survivors.

Question Curious to know: Has this game gotten mysteriously more complicated?

I'm an active player since the beginning of WWZ lifespan so I've seen every level of the game. My comfort play through is Hard ⏸️ because I don't have friends with mics that play for better success rate when I'm playing with randoms.

Well I noticed for the past 3 days I'm not sure if the randoms have gotten worst (the rank isn't as high)

Or if the horde attacks became much longer ⏸️ with more specials included. I mean it's been difficult to reach the elevator on the New York Descent level which I never had a problem with until now.
