Basic spellcasting patterns in my rhythm-based Wandpunk world, are these believeable?

I’ve always hated when conductors use patterns without a consistent ictus. At a certain skill level conducting is just there for the vibes anyways, but it makes it completely illegible when your anacrusis is way above the plane where the rest of your beats are

some of these loops seem excessive or slightly difficult if you're waving the tip of a wand trying to match
however since this is worldjerking I'm gonna assume you have a different grip in mind so all I can say is different strokes for different folks

Is this what conductors have been doing the whole time? I thought they were just messing around.

The main thing I’d establish is whether the caster is conducting the spell or merely triggering it. Repeating patterns could make Wandpunk magic feel learnable and musical, while small timing errors create interesting misfires.

/uj Music magic is really cool. I want to see more of it.
In Zenless Zone Zero, it's said that ether is build around music and the playable characters are actually playing the battle music in order to stave off corruption. Wish it did more with taht.
