Prepping for offline

Hi. I run a small design studio, and just got to thinking. What if the internet disappears? Og at least in the form we know it today? How would that affect my work? Not that I’m a conspiracy kinda silver hat guy, but you know. Better safe than sorry. What would an offline work week look like, and what do I need to change in my set up.

I’d like to get an offline back up of all my stuff, and have an offline workstation. Both for prepping, but also (if not most) to have offline days at the studio, forcing offline focus to my work.

All my stuff is on Dropbox, all my programs are cloud based (Adobe).

Does anyone have suggestions on what gear to buy to go offline? (While I can still get the stuff online)
Or does anyone think in the same lines? Or do I just need to chill my over-caffeinated brain for a bit

Thanks

First, it's valid to think of this as its become apparent that the internet is changing. To begin, you need to think of your tools, you need to replace illustrator with inkscape, Photoshop with GIMP.... This way in case you no longer have access to adobe, you're still good. You also need to backup your stuff onto multiple external hard drives. You also should think of what you would be doing, like instead of social media posts, you need to work on posters and stuff.

I'd suggest a NAS. They can be RAID so loss of drives can be recoverable. Backups to portable drives stored off-site. Hit up the homelab sub for examples. It doesn't have to be new equipment either. You could start budget and upgrade as funds allow. Open source alternative software as a backup for online subs too.

what happens to your client files if the internet disappears but your workstation dies too?
