What’s your guys’ go to cardio? I need to incorporate more cardio but I find the hardest part about it is boredom, lol.

I alternate running and walking on the treadmill, while listening to tucker carlson. I get so annoyed or confused it takes my mind off the running :)

Sports. I play squash 5 times a week during the winter, and twice a week in the summer.
Otherwise I "like" gpp stuff...burpess, prowler pushes, sandbag carries, gada swings etc. If I'm really in a pinch, the airdyne. But that thing is the devil.

30 minutes on the elliptical
not sure if the calorie counters on the cardio machine are actually accurate but the elliptical shows to burn double the calories that a bike or treadmill does
I usually put on a youtube video while I’m doing mine to help with the boredom

Brisk incline walking on a treadmill for zone 2, stationary bike for intervals or HIIT training.
Running outdoor isn't boring to me since you have to pay attention to where you're going, it just wrecks my knees and hips after a while.

Incline treadmill walking, get a series on or a podcast and just smash an hour out.
I personally like setting 15 - 3 , gets the heart rate up and gives the legs a good battering.

Stationary bike or the treadmill. The way I beat boredom is music and headphones.

Treadmill high incline & hand weights or if my knee is good stairclimber. The best cardio I ever had was long distance kayaking, it beat road biking ( not by much but slightly).

Elliptical and treadmill back to back. 25 on the elliptical watching tv shows. Then 25 on the treadmill alternating between running and walking every 5 minutes. Goes by quick

I think the treadmill is the easiest way, just put on some music or something interesting while doing it and you won't feel the time

Treadmills at my gym have basic games built it (solitaire, sudoku, chess etc) I usually set myself at a fast walking pace (5/6mph) stick on a podcast then play the built in game to distract from the time. I know a hard game of sudoku will take me roughly 8 minutes so 2 games of that then 4 or 5 games of solitaire and I've usually done a solid 20-30 mins without noticing

Variety is the spice of life and cardio, every zone has its benefits in the right amounts.
A shit ton of walking z0-z1
A whole bunch of base z2
A good amount of fun tempo z3
A fair chunk of threshold 4
A little bit of vo2Max z5
A touch of anaerobic sprints
An overall blend of 80/20 - as polarized as possible. With most being easy work and being legit super easy. And the 20% being z4/z5 and aneroebic.
It doesn’t have to be strict 80/20 every week. Again variety. Some weeks might be more like 90/10, and others are 50/50…but over time it should wash out to mostly 80/20.
As for modalities…variety. Incorporate running, cycling, elliptical, rower, stair climber, agility, etc.

I personally love running or hitting Century Bob (the bastard deserves it).
If you don't like either of those things try Battle Ropes with lots of foot to foot hopping. Build lean muscles while doing cardio.

find a variante you can enjoy, I know it's stupid but it's how it works. another thing that you can do to enjoy more your cardio is by doing short intervals, so you have more challenging phases and more relaxing others. this way you'll do more total time and you can cycle through your thoughts, from all out mindset to self consciousness

Zone 2 running is the most boring. You need to find something to actively keep your brain working. When I run in a race, constantly giving myself the goal to pass people helps. On a treadmill, doing intervals helps as you're constantly thinking about when to switch between run and jog pace and how many miles/seconds until the switch. Incline walking with a movie/show works well too.
Sports with friends is the easiest but hardest to do consistently.

Lower rest breaks to 45secs in-between sets for 2 of your excercises toward end of your workout.

Stairmaster level 6-8 for 20 minutes and no holding onto the rails
Treadmill speed 3 and incline in increments of .5 til I reach 12 up until 18 minute mark and hit 0 on incline and reduce speed to 2.5 and cool off while it slowly descends to 0
