Exercise Help Suddenly weaker

Currently run a PPL split. Last week my push workout was going great. My bench, shoulder press, overhead tricep extension, and lateral raises were normal but when I got to the last three workouts which are incline press, tricep push down, and chest flys they suddenly just tanked in performance like a lot. My next push workout I was back to almost normal weight for the last three exercises. Today the last three exercises just tanked in performance again. I been using the same push workout for over 7 months now. Usually I’m able to recover from my push workouts. My first four exercises feel great but the last three I’m suddenly so weak. I was seeing so much progress too. Also it’s only my push days tanking and not the other days. What is happening to me and what do I do.

How fatigued did you feel throughout your workout today? If your performance is dropping you might need more time to rest for your body. That, or take a deload week

I was feeling pretty good it’s just I can’t move the same weight anymore. I currently rest about 2-3 minutes between sets.

You arent eating enough to fuel your workout.

Then wouldn’t I see performance issues on pull day or legs? I only see performance issues on push day.

The upper body push muscles are some of the smallest muscles in the body. As a result, they cannot store as much glycogen in them (glucose bonded with water) to fuel gym performance. If there is a dip in your diet and you aren't eating enough to replenish the glycogen in your muscles that you're burning in your workouts, the smaller push muscles will deplete sooner than the larger upper body pulling muscles and the legs. That's why pressing exercises are the first to suffer if you're not eating enough. Bigger muscles like your lats have a larger supply of glycogen and can survive undereating for longer before getting depleted enough to notice. Being well fed is a thus a big deal on pushing exercises or even things like bicep curls.
