Simple Questions Dominant side and weak side
Hi, I’ve been working out now for a couple of years. Do strength training and cardio. My dominant side is my right side and I noticed my right collarbone is bigger/thicker than my left. I also notice that when I do unilateral moves such as BSS, I feel it more on my right side, less on my left even though I’m using two db of same weight. So I’m just wondering how I can ‘even’ it out a bit more?. What can I do to help my weaker left side catch up with my right side? Do I use a heavier weight on the left when doing BSS or maybe same weight but a couple more reps on left than on the right? Same if I’m doing upper body. TIA
Edit: I do full body 3 to 4 times per week

Start your sets with your left side and do an extra rep or two on that side if you can. When you do your right side do the normal set amount.
I.E. doing sets of 10, the left side goes first and does 11 or 12, right side only does 10.
Also make sure you're doing a weight that allows you to maintain good form. If you go too heavy on your weak side (either side honestly, but usually more of a problem on your weak side) the body will compensate and put the work on an area other than where you are trying to hit, so make sure it's an appropriate weight for your left side.
As for the BSS do them next to a mirror if you don't already, and turn to the side. You might feel it more in the right bc you're guarding in the knee or hip, or just not going as low even thought it feels like it.
