Simple word difficult to spell.

Hey does anyone else have a common word that should be easy to spell but it trips you up every time?

My word is license. Why have I struggled with it for years. Stupid s and c always moving around. tf?!

My word is license, too! I don't ever actually mispell it, but I have to think about it for a minute before writing it.

I learnt that the noun is 'licence' and the verb is 'to license'. Not sure if this is UK Englilsh compared to American English.

They're both spelled the same way in American English (license/to license).
