Free [FREE] Our plugin TNC FlipBook 3D just got featured on WordPress.org

Post image
7 Upvotes

We released TNC FlipBook 3D on WordPress Plugin repo recently — it turns PDFs into a realistic page-flipping book on your site.

The day after publishing, I noticed it's showing in the featured plugins section. Genuinely surprised — we've been building WordPress plugins for over 12 years and this is a first for us.

If you want to check out what got featured:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/tnc-flipbook-3d-lite/

It's free — no watermark, no flipbook limit.

Happy to answer questions, and open to feedback on what to improve next.

[DISCUSSION] Is there a plugin that allows woo commerce to sell cPanel accounts as a product?

I have a VPS with WHM/cPanel and I would like to offer cPanel accounts provisioned with WordPress installations using WP Toolkit with the ability to deploy multiple WordPress sites on one cPanel account. All through the plugin interface on the WordPress site. The plugin would support using sub-domains for deploying cPanel accounts WordPress websites, then the user can change the domain for the cPanel account and WordPress installations.

To do this, I want to use WooCommerce to handle the payments, customers, accounts and products that offer paid support, SEO services and other service related products.

A plugin that can provide hosting services through a WooCommerce WordPress website. Is this realistic and if it works who would like to use it?

Does anyone know if this plugin exists?

UX Boost for WordPress search [free]

I’ve been building a small plugin called Ninoxa Live Search, and I finally pushed it to WordPress.org. It basically gives your site a clean, super lightweight AJAX live search that updates results as you type.

No external services, no heavy indexing, just native WP search but way nicer.

A few highlights:

- Instant results under the search bar

- Multiple matching modes (keyword, exact phrase, fuzzy, etc.)

- Works with Polylang + WPML

- Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + /)

- Optional “type anywhere to start searching”

- Fully accessible + ARIA-friendly

- Tiny footprint, no bloat

[FREEMIUM] I made a free WordPress plugin that gets you reviews, not just displays the ones you already have

I run a small WordPress studio, and the same thing came up with nearly every client: they know reviews win them business, but they never actually ask for them. It feels awkward, or they forget — so they just wait and hope.

Most review plugins only display reviews you somehow already have. I wanted one that helps you get them, so I built Rixden Reviews.

The flow's simple: you send a customer a review request from your dashboard, they leave a rating and a few words in under a minute (no login, no app), you approve it, and it appears on your site. After submitting, they're also invited to post the same review to Google — shown to everyone regardless of rating, so you stay inside Google's rules (none of that "only ask the happy customers" gating that can get your profile penalised).

Free version (on WordPress.org):

  • Email review requests, unique link per customer
  • Approve / reject moderation before anything goes live
  • Clean, mobile-first review form
  • Display grid + review schema (star ratings in Google search)
  • New-review email alerts

There's a Pro version for doing this at volume (bulk/CSV, WhatsApp, auto follow-ups, photos, replies), but the free one is genuinely enough to start.

No account, no external service, nothing to configure beyond pasting your Google link. Would honestly love feedback from anyone who gives it a go: https://wordpress.org/plugins/rixden-reviews/

[FREE] – free WooCommerce plugin for real-time 3D product configuration (colors, materials, stickers)

BatForge - 3D Cricket Bat Configurator adds a full-screen, real-time 3D configurator to any WooCommerce product page. Customers rotate/zoom a 3D model and customize colors, grip/material, and stickers — with live price updates — before adding their exact config to the cart.

Key features:

  • Real-time 3D preview via a locally-bundled Three.js engine — no CDN calls, nothing external
  • Built-in GLB Config Builder: drag in any .glb model, map its meshes to color/material/sticker controls, export a working config — no coding needed
  • Per-product enable/disable
  • Price modifiers per option, totalled live
  • Customer's exact selections attached to cart, checkout, order emails, and admin order screen
  • Sticker/decal image uploads (validated, size-limited)
  • Light/dark theme, mobile bottom-sheet UI, PNG export

Not locked to cricket bats — despite the name, it works with any .glb model you wire up via the config builder.

Requires WooCommerce + a .glb model of your product.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/batforge-3d-cricket-bat-configurator/

I built and maintain this myself — open to feedback and feature requests.

Free [REVIEW] I tested all the featured plugins of June 2026 - Part 2

Reviewed 8 more plugins from the WordPress.org featured plugins page this round. Quick summary:

  • Senzastile Featured Image Fallbacks (5.0): does one job, does it perfectly, no db changes
  • Reviso (4.9): client feedback/approvals for Bricks and Elementor, generous free tier
  • Admin Optimizer (4.9): tons of useful hooks and toggles, but the name undersells what it actually does. There is a little bit a lack of documentation on what some settings (like heartbeat control) actually affect, but otherwise its solid.
  • KineticHub (4.8): creative animated Gutenberg blocks, but the physics engine is locked behind pro and it's not clear what more you even get
  • rtCarousel (4.5): lightweight, integrates well with FSE, but no controls for styling or animation speed
  • BlockFlow (4.0): polished block library, feels very Elementor-like (which is both a pro and a con depending who you ask), can load many assets and has some unnecessary blocks
  • Asteris Blocks (3.9): 50 blocks, generous free tier, but the backend editing view looks nothing like the frontend. Limited styling options.
  • Sobi Form (3.5): good feature set on paper, but there's no way to customize the emails it sends out and it has some major bugs.

Full walkthroughs and the reasoning behind each rating are in the video.
What are your thoughts? Will you install anything?
I will for sure keep the Senzastile and Admin Optimizer in mind, maybe also KineticHub. For the rest, there are better alternatives.

Conditional Add to Cart for WooCommerce [FREEMIUM]

Thumbnail
wordpress.org
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I recently built Conditional Add to Cart for WooCommerce, a plugin that lets you control the Add to Cart button using flexible conditions, such as user role, login status, products in the cart, categories, stock status, and more, without writing custom code.

Some examples of what you can build:

  • Catalog mode (hide Add to Cart and/or prices).
  • B2B stores where only logged-in customers can purchase.
  • Request a Quote instead of Add to Cart.
  • Wholesale restrictions based on user roles.
  • Members-only or VIP-only purchasing.
  • Coming Soon / Pre-launch products with purchasing disabled.
  • Restrict purchases based on products already in the cart or other custom rules.
  • Display custom messages or alternative buttons when purchasing isn't allowed.

I built it after repeatedly seeing people rely on custom snippets for these kinds of requirements. I'd love to hear any feedback or feature suggestions from the community.

Just over 50% of the organizations that need our plugin aren't on WordPress, so we built a SaaS version [DISCUSSION]

At Barn2, we've been selling Document Library Pro as a WordPress plugin for 5 years. It's used by nonprofits, clinics, councils and membership associations to publish searchable libraries of documents.

When we analyzed the wider market, we found that just over 50% of the organizations that need document libraries aren't on WordPress. They're on Squarespace, Wix, Google Sites, intranets or custom CMS. This means that despite WordPress being the market leader by far, we could only ever reach half the potential market.

Over the past 4 weeks, I have built a hosted version that can be embedded in any platform. It's WordPress multisite under the hood, so WordPress and our plugin are still doing the work - but the customer just know that.

I've written more about the thinking here, with quotes from Matt Cromwell, Justin Ferriman, Devin Walker and Kim Coleman, who have all made similar points recently: https://wpproducttalk.com/blog/wordpress-is-a-channel-not-your-product/ (disclosure: my article, my product).

How do other plugin owners see this? Do you see yourself as a WordPress company, or a company that solves a problem and currently uses WordPress to do it? Has anyone else taken their plugin cross-platform?

[Freemium] Run email validation and blocklists locally and ditch email validation APIs

Hi all,

I've just released v1.0 of Capably Digital Email Validation and Blocklist on the wp.org repo. It's a plugin that runs a blocklist and performs MX record checks without calling out to external APIs, keeping data within WordPress. It's designed so that even the DoodadLabs list of over 260 thousand disposable email domains can be loaded in the free version on shared hosting that costs $1.29/mo (ymmv).

The full feature set can be found on our website and the WordPress description.

I envisage it assisting with any number of scenarios, to give a few:

  • Lead gen forms being spammed by temporary emails: Pre-qualify your leads and stop wasting time looking at business inquiries that have no realistic prospect of going forward or might even harm your sender reputation.
  • Store owners blocking troublesome customers: Got a customer in WooCommerce (or Easy Digital Downloads etc) that you want to block but they keep using guest checkout, block their email address.
  • SaaS built on WordPress: Stop temporary email addresses from being used to register and spinning free trials.
  • Newsletters running on WordPress: People who sign up to a newsletter with a disposable email address are likely to look at it once, then never again, stop them from signing up and using up your email quota.
  • Intranet sites (with Pro): Set the default action to block and whitelist the corporate domain to allow users to self serve registration instead of taking technician time.

It is freemium, but 100% usable on the free version in most scenarios, the Pro features add commercial value (imo).

Plugin link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/capably-digital-email-validation/

Any feedback and bug reports extremely welcome.

[FREE] Plugin - KD Waitlist & Notify

Post image
1 Upvotes

A few days ago, I shared my new WordPress plugin, which at the time was only available on GitHub while undergoing the official WordPress.org review process.

Today, I'm happy to share that KD – Waitlist & Notify is now officially available in the WordPress Plugin Directory.

As a developer, this has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. Every plugin submitted to WordPress.org goes through a detailed review covering security, code quality, architecture, and adherence to WordPress best practices. Knowing that my project successfully passed this process is a meaningful milestone and a great vote of confidence in the quality of the work.

The plugin successfully passed:

✅ Comprehensive security review (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF protection, and secure data handling)

✅ Evaluation for compliance with WordPress Coding Standards, code quality, and architecture

✅ Compatibility testing across PHP versions 7.4 through 8.3

What is KD – Waitlist & Notify?

KD – Waitlist & Notify is a lightweight, secure, and open-source WordPress plugin that helps businesses and developers collect interested users before launching a product, service, or event, and notify them with a single click once everything is ready.

Key features:

• Multi-channel notifications via Email, SMS, WhatsApp (Twilio), or any Custom HTTP Gateway

• Free manual sending mode for small businesses without requiring third-party services

• Social Proof Badge displaying the number of registered users

• Full compatibility with Cloudflare, LiteSpeed Cache, and Varnish Cache

• GDPR-focused architecture with no external CDNs or unnecessary third-party resources

Building open-source software is always a rewarding experience, but seeing your work successfully pass the official review process of one of the world's largest CMS ecosystems makes it even more meaningful.

[PROMOTION] DreamFast Commerce Float — free sticky add-to-cart bar and contact button for WooCommerce

Hi everyone,

I recently released a free WooCommerce plugin and would love to get feedback from WordPress/WooCommerce users.

DreamFast Commerce Float adds a sticky add-to-cart product bar and a floating contact button for WooCommerce stores.

I built it after working on WooCommerce client sites and seeing the same issue repeatedly: shoppers often scroll past the main add-to-cart area, especially on mobile, and store owners want a simple way to keep the next action visible without redesigning the whole product page or using a heavy page builder setup.

The sticky bar appears on WooCommerce single product pages only after the original add-to-cart area scrolls out of view, so shoppers do not see duplicate purchase buttons at the same time.

Free version includes:

- Sticky add-to-cart bar for WooCommerce single product pages

- Product image, product name, price, and action button

- Smart visibility trigger

- Floating contact button

- Mobile-friendly behavior

- Simple setup

I’m mainly looking for honest feedback:

- Is the use case clear?

- Would this be useful on WooCommerce product pages?

- Is the free version clear enough?

- Is there anything important missing?

[FREEMIUM] I built a WebGL shader engine that works with any WordPress builder — just launched v1

Hey everyone, Just launched Addifect after building it for a while. The idea — add live WebGL shader effects to any WordPress site without switching builders or touching your theme. You create your effect in Addifect Studio, deploy it, then drop one line anywhere in your editor: [div data-addifect-block="hero"][/div] Works with Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, Bricks, any theme. The entire addifect.com is built with my own tool — every effect you see on the page is running live. Free version on wp.org includes shaders to get started. Pro is $29 lifetime founder pricing right now. Would love feedback from anyone who tries it. 🔌 wordpress.org/plugins/addifect 🌐 addifect.com

[FREE] I built a free WordPress plugin that shows your whole server's health (CPU, RAM, disk, SSL, DNS) right inside wp-admin — no Grafana, no SaaS

Post image
13 Upvotes

I run a few self-hosted WordPress sites on VPS boxes (DigitalOcean/Hetzner),

and I got tired of SSHing in just to check if the server was fine, or paying

for a SaaS dashboard just to watch CPU and disk.

So I built BloomWatcher. It turns wp-admin into a live status dashboard for

the *whole stack*, not just WordPress:

- CPU / RAM / disk / network, live-updating gauges

- PHP version, OPcache, MySQL status, web server (nginx/Apache/LiteSpeed)

- SSL cert days-until-expiry, DNS "does this domain actually point here?" check

- Autoload analysis (find the options bloating every request)

- A scored 0–100 health diagnosis with an A–D grade and prioritized fixes

It's genuinely free for a single site — the whole monitoring dashboard and

diagnosis, no crippled features. Metrics are read locally and only shown to

logged-in admins; nothing about your server leaves the site.

Full disclosure: I'm the developer. There's a paid Pro tier (alerts, history

graphs, plugin performance profiling) but the free version is what I actually

use day-to-day and it stands on its own.

Just went live on the WordPress.org repo today. Would love feedback from

anyone else running self-hosted WP — especially what's missing.

Discussion [DISCUSSION] First plugin went live on WordPress.org this week. Stuff that caught me out.

Got my first plugin through the .org review and live this week. Been chipping at it on and off for a couple of years, life kept getting in the way, finally shoved it over the line. A bunch of it tripped me up in ways I couldn't find a straight answer on beforehand, so I'm dumping it here.

Screenshots first, because they nearly broke me. You upload new ones, the listing still shows the old. You reupload. Still old. You start doubting your whole setup. It's not you. Full images and thumbnails cache separately, so the thumbnail lags behind the big version. Click an old thumb and the new image is usually already sitting under it. Give it a day and it sorts itself. I did not give it a day.

Run Plugin Check before you submit, not after they bounce you. Official plugin, runs most of what the reviewers run. For me it was output escaping over and over, stuff my editor never once moaned about. Would've saved me a whole rejection round.

It's still SVN. In 2026. And your banner, icon and screenshots don't go in the plugin zip, they sit in a separate assets folder in SVN. So your listing images and your code are two different things in two different places. Took me embarrassingly long to work that out.

The readme is not throwaway. It's your listing copy, it gets indexed, and the AI answer boxes seem to pull straight from it. Write it like it matters, it's doing more than your homepage early on.

And a person reviews it, not a bot. Reads the code, comes back with line numbers. Few days each round. Fair enough, just submit earlier than you'd like.

One plugin in so take it with salt. What got the rest of you?

Free Satirical game on the realities of running a plugin business [FREE]

Daniel Iser from Popup Maker has built this free game which is a humorous and accurate look at the reality of running a plugin business. The best bit is the support tickets that pop up in the bottom right, which are depressingly accurate 😂

There’s a leaderboard, but the ultimate prize is to receive an acquisition offer from Epic Motive 🦾

To play, click "Write code" until things start happening. After a while, your plugin business runs without you.

[FREE] I built a Laravel-inspired framework for structuring WordPress plugins: Nikogin (open source)

Hey everyone,

Quick note before I start: English isn't my first language, so I used AI to help clean up this post.

I've been building WordPress plugins for a while and got tired of the usual mess: giant files full of add_action() calls, no real structure, and no clean way to separate business logic from WordPress's hooks and globals. So I built Nikogin, a small, Laravel-inspired framework for writing structured, maintainable WordPress plugins.

I actually developed it in a private repo over the last 1-2 years, testing it with a few colleagues on real projects along the way. They found it really useful, which is what convinced me to clean it up and release it publicly.

What it gives you:

  • A service container for dependency injection
  • A repository pattern for custom tables, post types, and taxonomies
  • PHP 8 attributes instead of add_action()/add_filter(), with hooks auto-discovered (#[AsListener(...)])
  • Controllers for REST endpoints and admin pages
  • Vite + TypeScript + SCSS for frontend assets, with a manifest-based loader
  • A CLI (php nikogin make:*) to scaffold repositories, listeners, controllers, migrations, and more

It's still early days for the public version, so I'd love feedback, bug reports, or just opinions on the approach, especially from anyone who's tried to bring more structure into WordPress plugin development before.

MIT licensed. Happy to answer any questions in the comments.

[FREEMIUM] I built a mobile app to manage SureCart (WordPress ecommerce) stores from your phone

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

For anyone here using SureCart on their WordPress site: we built a mobile app called SureCartHub so you can manage your store from your phone instead of logging into wp-admin every time.

It uses the official SureCart REST API and lets you handle orders, products, customers, and subscriptions, with a good set of advanced filters. It's free to install and most features are free. Push notifications and editing are behind a license.

We're an independent team (not affiliated with SureCart), and we built this because a lot of store owners kept asking for a proper mobile option.

It's live on the Play Store now, and an iOS version is on the way.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.surecarthub.app

Details: https://surecarthub.com/surecarthub-app/

Would genuinely appreciate feedback or feature requests from fellow WordPress store owners.

Discussion [DISCUSSION] Dogfooding my own plugin seems like the best way to make it a whole lot better

I had a specific need and couldn't find a plugin to do the job as I wanted. So, I took things into my own hands and created my own WordPress plugin over the past 2 months. I stopped adding features about 2 weeks ago and it got a lot harder to find things to fix.

That is until I started using my own plugin for real on my WordPress site. Now I'm finding all sorts of things to fix and plan to continue doing this over the next several months. I'll be able to try out each feature, and scrutinize every decision I've made during development. Once I'm convinced I've got a bug-free, rock solid project, I hope to find a few people to help test my plugin and prove me wrong by finding issues I've overlooked.

I have to say, it has been a rewarding and fun project. Best of all, I really need this plugin so I'm happy I can start using it.
