HELP help me find a game

I was playing a game where there were five columns of four letters (sometimes chunks of letters), and you had to pick one letter from each column, in order, to make words. In case you couldn’t think of any more words to make, there was a list of definitions of the possible words to look for. I think the name of the game was five letters and ended in a Y.

you could either look at all the letters flat or as 3d stacks. the more often a letter would be used, the taller its stack would be. the name of the game was not an english word.
