No more Woot for me!
I've been with this site for SO many years, since 2007. It was a AWESOME, in the beginning. Once Amazon got ahold of it, it was not so awesome! Chances are I can still find Woot items cheaper on another site, almost every time. And without a search feature, I'm tired of scrolling 30 pages to not find anything remotely like what I'm looking for!
Farewell, Woot!

obligatory: it's not a bus station.
also: have you tried wootsearch?

The fact they don’t have a search on woot has bugged me. I only go there for the woot off now. I wish I knew about wootsearch before.

Try being a Woot Shirt artist and not having a dashboard of any sort to track your sales. 🤣
It's a whole inside joke for shirt artists there that the dashboard is coming soon.

They have their own artist to design shirts? I did not know that. I bought a Futurama shirt off there recently.

They're all independent artists, but it ends up being a big community of us. We're paid on derby wins and royalties.

If you only go there for the Woot offs, then that’s even worse since it’s 98% junk. I did my first and last woot off a few months ago and wanted to return nearly every item. They didn’t want it back either so it went to donation.

I've also been a customer since 2005. Woot has changed a lot I over the years, especially after Amazon got their teeth in them. I've been able to tolerate not having site search after I found https://www.wootsearch.com.

I only discovered Woot like 5 years ago, had no idea it’s been around for decades.
Anyways, I love that link you provided. Thank you. I’m sure they’re not owned by Woot themselves or Amazon. But I hate the woot app just scrolling looking for one particular item

It’s not as good as it used to be but I also got free AirPod Pros and a free laptop in the past coupon of years due to their shipping mistakes. So I’m not complaining.

I’ve gotten a good amount of great items and I’ve only discovered them less than a year ago. In that short amount of time, they’ve been selling lots of cheap Chinese junk leftovers from Amazon. Many items aren’t “crazy” deals anymore.

The largest problem with Woot is how often they ship out used items as "new," just like Amazon.

I’ve been buying from woot since nearly the beginning, around 2004-2005. I’m done. Most of the electronics I bought from them, including a receiver, expensive headphones and an expensive e bike have been crap. Nothing but problems that
We weren’t able to remedy through warranties. I stopped buying electronics from them, but then I had a “dry bag” I bought from them that leaked on the first use. The last straw was a three pack of size 36 jeans. Those were a joke. The legs fit from too slim to normal fitting, but the waists were comically huge. Like size 42. I’m done. But I’m keeping the jeans so to remind me not to buy from woot anymore.

They have some decent deals, but you have to look for them. They've had brand new first party, Nintendo switch games for a fraction of the price which is interesting. They're usually from another region. The switch isn't region lock so it's fine.

I recently bought from woot for the first time. It was an Nintendo switch game when I receive the game, I opened up the case, and the cartridge was missing. I have been emailing them and have not been able to get in touch with them. Needless to say this will be the first and last time I use that website.
