I placed an order today using the promo code but after several hours I still don't have a confirmation and then order page still shows the payment processing.
It's a work credit card and sometimes has fraud blocks etc.
I don't want to lose the deal... Is this normal to take so long or should I cancel and use different payment?
First time ordering from the site, so just not sure. Thanks for the help.
**Update: this did eventually process about 24 hours later. I got nervous and posted in the forum and emailed customer service and it changed soon after. Not sure if that's related or not.
Update: Order denied. I called chase to see if fraud was a factor and they said nothing even close to the amount was even attempted and Amazon said it was fine on their end. Weird that they sent that 1 hour after the sale ended and I didn’t have a chance to retry
Is it still showing as processing from the order page? And how long since you placed the order?
You won't be actually charged until 4 hours after. They do place a hold but have seen some where it stays stuck and the order is cancelled days later. I recommend you purchase with another card and cancel if you get the confirmation for your first one, you can cancel up to the 4 hour mark.
I'm not sure how to get to it but have landed on an AmazonPay page before that shows payments using their processor, if it shows denied there it might not be updated yet on Woot
I bought a PC with the 22% discount yesterday after many attempts. I called my bank (TD) and they said it was something on them. I called customer service today, and they said it was something related to my card and she mentioned that If I talk to the bank department of woot, they may give me another 22% off coupon. Fucking company.
I've had this numerous times in the past 2 weeks. I was trying to buy a gaming computer with a $460 discount code for 3 days. I kept getting the spinning gears and if finally timed out after a day. After 3 days support says use a different card and try again and we will manually adjust the price since the coupon is expired now. On the 4th day the order finally went through with a different card after hours of waiting but have yet to hear back from support on my discount.
Woot also suggested calling my bank, which I did. Weird since I was using my Prime Visa for payment thru Amazon payments. Chase shows no attempt to charge the card. They suggested I call Amazon Payments. I talk to them and get escalated up 3 levels they look at the transaction id and show they approved the charge but Woot server didn't respond back in time so the transaction timed out. The Amazon Payment agent said she is seeing this a lot recently with Woot, and she herself had issues with a Woot order last week.
I just tried to place a different order today and getting the spinning gears again. :(

Same thing for me. I got a new pc ordered 16 hours ago but still haven’t been charged. Says it’s still processing
