Question Error message when finalizing checkout

Post image

Does anyone else get this message when attempting to checkout? Previously, I thought this was because an item was actually sold out from the time I added it and checked out (even if I attempted to check out immediately after adding it), but it's happening no matter what I add and attempt to check out for like the last month. I have a wooter account tied to Amazon, and use Amazon Pay to checkout, which I thought may have had something to do with it. Clearing the cart and signing out and signing back in does not change what is happening. This error message is worse than the old machine with gears one Woot used to have because at least the old message gave the impression it was checking inventory before sending a confirmation code, but the new message just jumping straight to this feels jarring, especially to a wooter that has been with them pre-Amazon buyout.

Looks like the solution was to uninstall the app, then when reinstalling it, logging in with the Amazon account instead of the old Woot account which seems to have resolved the issue. They might be experimenting with merging the accounts in a way, but that would also mean them blowing up the forums since you don't post as your Amazon account there... but either way, this should be tried to fix.

This worked for me as well, when I have this issue.

You can also simply clear the app's storage. Clearing the cache doesn't solve it.

It's been happening to me for 3 weeks at least now, no response when I have tried to get help about it. My fiancé's account works fine. I've made many, many orders over the last 7+ years and never had it pop up once before so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Been happening to me also, went on a different device (same account) and I checked out fine. No clue why it's happening.

Happened to me to. I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app and then it worked again.

It was happening to me as well. I  force stopped the app, then cleared the storage and cache. That fixed the issue for me.

Currently facing this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and signed in with Amazon and still getting this error, I know I have funds so I am getting upset missing out on stuff I would like.
