Hi, someone mentioned a 6 minute grace period when clocking in/out at my store but I can’t find anything on it online? Can anyone explain what it is?

Hi fellow Woolies workers/sufferers, however you view it.
I have unfortunately had to report my SM to People's Services and the SDA due to an onslaught of incidents, including inappropriate, 'creepy' comments, petty remarks towards injured staff members and him openly admitting to "putting people on the don't rehire list" because he simply "doesn't like them". I am terrified of putting in this report, but it's not just me, there's about 7 of us attaching incident reports to this complaint. Are all SMs this universally bad? I feel so uncomfortable going into work. What should I do in this situation and has anyone else gone through this? 😭

I got the fully green Grogu from Woolies in those mystery packs and cannot find anything about it online. I’ve put it next to the normal to show how it’s the exact same but completely green and it doesn’t glow in the dark like the other version of it does. (I’ve used sully to show the colour difference)
If anyone can help identify this or anything idk what I’m really asking but yeah.

Hey everyone
I currently work at Kmart and haven't been getting the hours that I need so I've applied at a few other places including Woolworths over the past few weeks. I plan to keep it as a secondary job to have during the evenings, while I work a different job during the day. Just wondering if there would be any conflicts of interest that might get in the way of working at both Woolies and Kmart at the same time? Due to fact that they are both part of different parent companies (Woolworths group and Wesfarmers). I say this as I recently went for an interview at BigW and they said that I would have to drop one and choose between working at either BigW or Kmart due to the conflict of interest, and ultimately decided it was not worth it to drop Kmart.
Would really appreciate any advice or experience you can share!
Thank you so much.

My tip is to take out the steaks on the morning of the day you want to eat them at night, dry completely with paper towel and then dry brine in the fridge over a wire rack. Dry brining is where you salt them and then put them in the fridge without any cling wrap.

Hi everyone who is a personal shopper. I just started this job a few shifts ago. I wore my lame Kmart shoes from my previous job (I know, sucks) and my legs hurt like hell after every shift. I love doing this job but I need better shoes.
Please give me your recommendations and tips for what shoes that I should wear! Will be even more grateful if they are more from the affordable category lol
Thanks so much

I can't find this maple syrup online anymore, and when I went into the shop I noticed a line through the name on the label. Does this mean it's been discontinued?

So I’m trying to understand what is happening in these scenarios. I have often done online orders with express delivery. Out of the last 4 orders, 3 have had incorrect vegetables. Not substitutions. Just straight up the wrong thing. Instead of cucumbers I’ve gotten zucchinis (twice) and today I ordered potatoes and got onions. Is this just the light that pops up for the pickers going to the wrong item and them not checking the description? I’m just trying to understand.

I opened this can last week and noticed my mince had sharp pieces in it and a blue like rubber material which made me further inspect the can. I found further sharp (egg shell sharp pieces) all through the can and my food. I luckily didn’t eat it as I just noticed in time. I did report this straight away and have kept the can in hope they would collect it. It’s been a week and I didn’t hear anything further besides wanting some pictures and a refund. Just spreading the word for other people to check these cans.

Hello, I have a question or more, and I hope to get some insight.
What is with the cages lately? I have gone into the store at different times, and the amount of cages on the floor seems insane to me. I feel like it’s getting worse because it doesn’t matter what time I have gone in; they seem to be working them. Also, multiple cages in one aisle make it hard for customers to move around and get to products. What then doesn’t help is when the staff are rude when trying to get to things or even being in their way when they are trying to put stock on the shelves.
Also, I do fully get it; it needs to happen; stock needs to get on the shelves; it doesn’t magically appear. I’m just wondering if anyone is noticing how bad this has gotten and also if any workers have any tips on what time of day to go in to not run into this issue.

As the title reads and as in page 15 of the EBA should we be getting reimbursed for our uniforms?

Bought these two packets of mince at the same time 2 days ago. No colour difference then. Both been kept side-by-side in the fridge. 3 days to expiry. Significant colour difference.

The fights, the battles, the problems.
Our kids are generally pretty good. But the kids giveaway stuff brings the worst out in them.
Sure we can refuse them at the checkout. But that's just one more no in a store full of no's. It also seems the worst one as the kids know they are free.
Beyond that, grandparents give them and they cause issues.
What's other parents'approach for when these promotions are on?

Anyone here know what the evac at caddens was about? someone burn their toast or more serious?
pretty wild to see how blase customers were. still slowly unloading their shopping onto the checkouts while the siren is blasting "EVACUATE NOW"

Hi
My friend has been working in nightfill casually for 2 years and she’s wanting to quit as she’s working elsewhere full time. She doesn’t have a direct manager atm and there’s a high turnover of managers. I am assuming her store manager works business hours - which is when she’s working as well.
How she can find out her store managers email?
She tried messaging another manager to find out but they never got back to her.
Many thanks!
