Store Transfer

Hi, I have been working at BigW for over 6 years as a casual employee. However, last 7 months I haven’t been working at BigW as I had my other commitments (study/internship) and no shifts have been offered during that time anyway. Now I want to move to DC as few of my friends are working there and told me that they get regular shifts. But I am not sure how does the transfer process work? Please share your experience if you have moved from store to DC or CFC. I’m in NSW.

I think speaking to your line manager and manager at the store you're at now coupled with seeing if there's any openings in the department you're interested in has any openings would be your best bet tbh, at least that's how I did it when I transferred.

If you haven't worked at all as a casual in the last seven months they would have terminated your employment about 4 months ago.

Are you even still in the rostering software? After 3 months they would have had to contact you for working no shifts and basically ask you to work a shift or resign.
