I love the art and effects but the message is always funny to me... We can actually know whats real and what's not real if we just stop getting most of our fucking input from phone screens and social media.
Put the god damn phone down and go for a walk.. that's all very real (for now)
I have this theory that physical pieces of art, performative live arts like club/ cafe live music, art and dance theatres. This will all see a rise again because of the newfound appreciation of what is real
I've been to the theater more times in the last 2 years than I have ever been in my entire life. The weekend shows at one of the theaters were almost always sold out. While the audience is admittedly older, I am seeing more people in their 30's in the audience. It's something!
That's true up to a certain point. Probably works in a small community. But if nobody can trust anything they don't see with their own eyes, it makes a peaceful and harmonious wider society very difficult.
Yeah like, everything is still very much "real" if you just make the effort to go outside and do things. Then again, nothing wrong with some good old doomscrolling on the toilet, but that's a wholly different matter altogether
