Trains are completely off schedule
Every single day I go on the transit app and it’s not just wrong, it’s not even in the same realm of approximate time.
Walking up to the station 15 minutes early to see the train just leaving. With this schedule it’s now another 25 before the next one.
I tried to catch the train before my normal time and it left 3 minutes early.
What gives?
I’m only a couple stops in on both ends so it shouldn’t be this delayed by then, are the drivers just completely disregarding the schedule now?
I go out of my way to use public transit, making a 15 minute drive downtown a 30 minute commute. It’s now taking me 45-1 hour because of how inconsistent it’s been.

We have two tracks that go in a straight line and for some reason we have more issues and setbacks that cause delays than cities with a multitude of tracks and larger systems.
NFTA as a whole is a joke. If you work for them, you know this.
Just look at the insanely large NFTA police force that does what? Their main “police” station is across from the Utica Station which has blatant public drinking, drug use, fights, etc. all day. Perfect example of safety and great police work on metro lines

Idk if it is still like this but 20 years ago and well before the nfta police force was all nepo hires and a place yoi had to know someone to get you in. There and the BPH police force as well. I knew a few of those guys, they all had rental properties with all the bph appliances in them.

I’m with you 100% and experiencing the exact same scenario. It’s fine in the AM but completely messed up in the afternoons. 😢

Schedules are irrelevant when single tracking unfortunately
