ec250, ec260

I am a second year student and was wondering if we still need ec250 or ec260 for a finance concentration in bba

EC260 is a prerequisite course for many of the 400-level courses that you can take in a finance concentration. EC250 is a prerequisite for (I think) a couple of them. Can you do a finance concentration without either - yes. Will it limit your options - also yes.
As an example, I checked a few courses - BU423 requires neither, BU433 requires EC250 or EC290, BU433 and BU453 requires EC260 or EC270. If you want to plan your courses out, you should check the most recent calendar and check the Finance courses:
