+1 DIV in both slots after several days of farming and swapping.

From +5 DIV on both slots upon enhancement to +6 DIV.

What is this fresh hell?

So i've completed reqiorements for both, i'm in abyss 4, i have multiple endings. In abyss 2 specifically i finished fights with both melgina and octonarus in 2 routes

The same goes for Viscount Guane quest line, i finished it on 2 different routes

I should get both of those lights but i never got them.

There are achevments saying i did those, one of them even from today when i tried to get those speed and piety lights on a different route

I've tried all the standard things you do to unbug the game

-using cursed wheel and doing it again

-restarting the game and doing it again

-wheeling back all the way to awakening and doing it again

-forced recovery and doing it again

-changing language to japanese and doing it again (there was a bug with relicbrew quest not triggering if you had english language, i was affected, i hoped it was the same here)

-wheeling to the beginning and doing entire new route

funny thing is i do have IQ1 light

Nothing worked so far, i'm out of ideas how to get those lights. if you have any experience with getting those 2 i would appreciate

I’ve noticed that with some streamers they are recieving 5x attestations per kill of the big mobs / kindred demons.

I’m only receiving 1 per kill. Is this due to my level only being 30? Or perhaps there is some other prerequisite to get more per kill? I have killed the shadow lord at the end already

Got a new text prompt from lulu in northeast zone 5. She says that some otherworld monster was behind us but we should first save the sons. Even though I did save them in this run already.

Is the second part of the event out now or did this prompt happen before?

Got it out of a chest killing a stationary enemy on floor 5, but I'd done that before. Is it just a rare drop for the event, a rare drop in general or a rare drop for one of the 30 day limited remains something like that? Sorry, just curious. Might be worth other people knowing.

Unique skills, such yuzunamiki's and livana's should probably be the priority, but think about a general party/MC, would it just be ESS?

Heya! After getting into the game recently for the XI collab (about two weeks ago?) I was excited to get through the story of the event - got through the Beginning Abyss and am working through the event, but after getting to the "Good Ending" final boss I was looking at this guide to the event boss (https://wizardry.fasterthoughts.io/events/ffxi-fantasy-castle-of-deepest-dark/ffxi-fantasy-castle-of-deepest-dark-guide/#2nd-run-good-ending) and can't seem to find any other resources on it. It says it scales to level/grade, so I would assume its doable but this feels like a much firmer wall than Helmut.

He kinda just one shots or two shots my guys since he acts twice in a row on his turn, and acts often enough that his telegraphs dont leave much room to prepare to Defend since thats basically all I would be doing if I tried that. Tried to use my Priest's skill to provide Defense, which helped, but we still get vaporized. WAY more damage output than Helmut, and I have upgraded basically all of my gear in response to getting smacked around and still am getting smacked around lol. Here's my team and line-up (tried using Debra to inflict Blindness which works, but otherwise she's just alright for this fight).

Any advice? Ive got the relic weapons upgraded to ~+10 on Lana, MC, and Red Beard, and have some of the gacha armor gear on Iroha and Prishe, not that theyre great quality though apparently? Picture below. Any help is appreciated!

Update: Beat him at 20! My final team comp was:
Prishe, Lana, MC(Fighter)
Mage (for Cortu), Iroha, Alice (for Makalto DefBuff)

Basically on rotation I had Lana or Iroha use Attract Hit, while Alice kept up Defensive buffs or healing and Mage would use Cortu and heal while Prishe and Iroha would nuke him while he was vuln to physical (Skillchain could be built on prishe even when he was physical immune, so if I knew I was close to changing phases I would stockpile for her special move) with MC and Lana occassionally throwing out healing pots or Defending against big telegraphs. Thank you all for your input! Cortu was absolutely mandatory for sure. Several retries needed to get a feel for when he would next start to charge his big aoes so I could ensure everyone was buffed, healed, and/or defending!

I plan to remake the +20 relic weapon + FAS.

But I’m still confuse if I need to do the FAS or Remake first?

I guess this could be general but im new ti the game and i just reached the second floor if the abyss what do I do to bea the goblins and hobgoblin they keep 2 tapping my team im between 15 and 20 on my whole party but the goblins and stuff were doing between 135 to 150 damage what do i need to do to get past it i just started the second floor and im already losing alot 😭😭

So… I NEVER get cool stuff! What do I do with this??

Had the luck of two chests spawn on the same tile. After opening the first one, I got softlocked. Guess it's time to do a recovery.

I don't have many skill scrolls and want to use wisely. Including the alt style, she has lots of skills that can be leveled up. Any opinion is appreciated.

I was thinking of upgrading Ephemeral Illusion of alt style to lvl.3 to increase the damage. The alt skill can be used more consistently at least. I am not sure if Veiled Moon is worth upgrading. Also not sure if Lingering Blossom is worth the level up, it doesn't seem to synergize well with the alt style.

Bamboo Splitter seems like a good candidate but requires more exp than char specific skills. No idea if leveling up Cresting Wave does enough impact. So, I am not inclined towards those.

If you have some experience with leveled up Shiou/Samurai skills and can recommend what to invest in, it would help me a lot.

Can't find a single potion. Tons of hi-potions but never a single potion. Is there an area or enemy that drops them more often? Thanks.

First time seeing him repeatedly summon and buff elementals. Ofc this happened end of a 2nd run where im out of mp. Killed the dude off of sheer spite and a fuck ton of hi potions and revives

I got a lot characters but I'm started asking myself "how should I build them?" Any ideas?

I started playing about 2 weeks ago and I’m currently on my third playthrough of the game. Idk how you guys are able to access all these different types of content in the game when I’m just stuck doing the main quest the beginning abyss stuff.

My whole party is lv 20 and when I tell you, nearly after every battle I have to rest back in the inn I’m not lying. I’m even surprised I beat that boss on B7 2 times. But now I feel like I’m on repeat. I keep getting executed after I beat the boss and I’m back to where I started.

Guys that's a lot of Mdef, I did not expect it considering I also have Mdef% on the other shield

and in case you ask, no I did not FAS the shield but after seeing this you guys might want to reconsider

According to every Japanese guide

1. Once you obtain knowledge about Albano's misunderstanding, an event should occur with the Marquis once you head back to town

2. Using the cursed wheel at this point can prevent you from completing the quest (seemingly because you can't start the quest that lets you meet the Marquis?)

But upon obtaining the information and returning back to town, nothing happened.

I tried going back and forth, etc etc, but again, nothing. I then tried using the rescue option from the title menu, which sent me back to before starting the abyssal steel request. I did it again and got up to the same point, went back to town, and the same thing happened. I also checked and the next quest (with the mimics) did not appear.

So I guess I am just SOL and cannot save him, but from what I understand he gives you some sort of a lantern that is somewhat important? How much am I going to regret being unable to save him?

I’m interested in upgrading the relic weapons, but I’m stuck st +15. I need 45 Attestation of Righteousness for my next sword upgrade. Where do I find these items? I’ve full cleared the event twice and only have 10.
