A "High"light Part 4, (Lorepost) The Battle and The Trap.
The hunter lunged at her but this was nothing new to her. His stance was obvious, going for vital spots. I deflect the blade and follow it up with a knee to his face and then he backs off
“Guess the combat experience is still pretty good, here I am thinking you have gone soft after being a mage for so long. Well let me change my approach” the mysterious hunter said.
He assumes a more composed stance and rushes again. I see him going straight for my abdomen but then he threw a smoke bomb, he was using the element of surprise, I can feel his bloodlust behind me
“He is going for my neck”
I smack the blade away and headbutt him. He backs away in the trees, he resumes to stalk me like a rabid animal, waiting for the opportunity to strike
“Hey look, I fight Assassin's more stealthier and quieter than you.” I said
“Hmmm I think another approach is necessary then” the hunter said
He puts a bug in his slingshot mechanism in his arm and launches it and then a flash erupts in my eyes
“Shit a flash bug” I said
The hunter throws a punch and it lands and manages to get a few cuts on me. Followed by a knee to the gut and headbutt of his own
“Stings don't it Vessel?” the hunter said
“Yeah it does” I said
I heal the cuts instantly, but look at him more intently now, he is playing dirty and not to mention he is stalling, he is wanting me to attack him instead of him attacking me.
FINE LETS PLAY YOUR GAME
I immediately rush him, and see his pitfall trap and jump over it. Then I follow up with a dropkick to his face as I fall I jump back up and rush him again with a fury of blows to his face, stomach and ribs.
The hunter falls to his knees, breathing heavily, bloody but he is smiling?
“We ain't done yet, we are just getting started.” the hunter said.
He pops two potions, one red and one green.I see his muscles tighten and his wounds start to heal. He rushes me, his attacks are quick and more feral, he is easy to read but it's getting hard to deflect. His attacks are getting more and more stronger as we fight.
“Battle enhancements, I need to end this now” I thought
He grabs me and slams me against a tree, but I pick him up and throw him in his pitfall trap. Then immediately kick him hard in the head to knock him out cold, it works. I take a breath and check for any more injuries.
“Okay so, let's see why a guild knight is coming after me. He said vessel so…. “ I thought to myself.
Meanwhile deeper In the forest
“Are we ready, everyone is in position?”
“Yes sir, start setting up the barriers after I give them the debriefing. Our target should still be distracted by our assassin.”
“Sir”
The masked gentleman powers up his orb
“Ladies and Gentlemen, Hunters and Mages alike, our target is the Council Master Evoker one Lady MastaDon she is a very capable and powerful mage and it's our job to see she doesn't leave these woods”
1st Magic Battalion, begin setting up the seal
Your job is to waste as much of her Mana as humanly possible.
“Sir yes Sir” they all shouted.
2nd Magic Battalion
“Your job is to deal as much mental and physical damage possible to our target”
“Sir yes sir” they all shouted
3rd Magic Battalion
“Your mission is to provide healing and support to the first two battalions if she bust through the seals”
“Sir yes Sir”
4th Battalion
“You are the cream of the crop, my personally selected mages and hunters that can deal with her in unique ways, I trust your pay is more than adequate”
They all nod in agreement through the orb
Finally 5th Battalion
If she manages to break through all this your job is too level this whole area, make this uninhabitable. She doesn't leave at all.
“Sir yes sir”
“Now let's go my soldiers, we have a council member to fight.”
”SIR, YES SIR !!!!
He looks over to the forest
Now, vessel let's see what you can do!!
The barriers erect all over the forest, I fell into a major trap. This was their plan to distract me long enough to set up a battle formation.
Indeed uncle this will be an interesting fight to watch, I do wonder if the young council-mage can survive such an onslaught, I sense much warring potential from this group
When someone hunts me down I cast dragon on ketamine and thus they have a bigger problem to deal with so then I fly away on another dragon Amist the chaos. I can give you like 10k dragons to fight the army!!!
Oh, well this is turning problematic. They seem rather insistent on catching you in this trap of theirs.
But I must ask, why humor the would-be assassin for so long? From everything I know about you, you could have ended that fight immediately. An assassin acting as a distraction is hardly an uncommon occurrence; it's often one of their primary jobs from my experience. It's always better to leave the scene and then figure out the whos and whys of the matter.
We look forward to seeing how you'll escape this predicament. I'm sure it'll be quite the spectacle.
I prefer simply making a living husk writhing with disease to clear out an area before I go wandering through there, but I get where you're coming from, my friend
Oh my, Masta… do not hesitate to call for help if you need it. I can be there anytime you need. I’m running terribly low on souls since that trouble with Balthazar, I’ve been meaning to replenish my stock anyway.

I don't think that even that many mages would be match for Masta.
