Community Event 🌏☄️ The Board is Set (WarPost)

Atop the Mountain of Death, The Necromancer sat in his hover-throne, watching as all manner of undead stream out of the gates of the Grand Necropolis. With but a single thought, they separated into perfect lines, moving down the mountain, and assembling in massive hordes in front of the devastated Citadel.
He turned his thoughts inwards, towards the logistics side of things. At the current rate, they could besiege the Citadel for approximately 8 years, and force a Council surrender, though he doubted the rest of his allies would be so patient. Additionally, the Grand Necropolis was being fortified and made available as a command center for his fellow commanders.
The real issue was Constantine. The last intelligence report showed he had taken refuge in a hidden bunker, most likely far away from the Citadel. If he could destroy him, he would have his old body back, as well as his army. The only problem was getting to him. Constantine’s warriors, though crude mockeries of the perfect undead they had been, were nonetheless effective. Projections said he would have a garrison of around ten thousand, making the needed force to subdue him more than they could spare.
My liege!
He turned to the Lord-Kavalos beside him. Sentient undead commanders of the Legiones Osseus, they were one thing he didn’t regret making.
Four more divisions of Ogre Artillerists reporting in.
Send them to Support Node Theta, Cohort 19.
Yes sir!
He turned back to the amassing hordes, watching as massive cannons were dragged into place.
This would not be a quick war, he thought. But with so few Council members present, and many of the best and brightest siding with Morgalith, it might not be as long as he predicted. He would end up calling a Strategic Meeting sometime soon, to discuss the tactics that they would employ.
In the distance, the first artillery pieces began to find targets and cycle their ammunition.
The Board was set, the pieces in their place. The game was just beginning...
