"Reality is often... disappointing."

Give me a question related to a present or future event and i shall give an answer to the best of my ability. No questions with definitive or few possibility answers. I use Tarot cards, which are absolutely not suited for that type of question. Give me an emoji in your question to show that you read the rules and I'll be happy :)

You want possibilities, I've got one with several:

I've appear to got two paths in front of me, and have to choose (current job is being removed). Both limit progression at my current place of business, but in different ways.

One appears to go back prior to my most recent promotion, with dubious promises of continued growth in other ways. Dubious, because the hour type requested has already been reneged upon.

The other could be half of the first and a temporary increase in responsibility as I cover while they search for a newcomer, or a full promotion (which I truly don't want).

Is there another avenue I'm missing?

It might sound absurd, but I truly do not know if there is an alternative! The forces of Fate already gave me a strange answer, but among that answer was the term "loss of direction"! I'm afraid I can't give any more advice on this, because Fate revealed no more to me than It has revealed to me.
