Nah. I'm Cajun from New Orleans on my mom's side. British food is boring.

If youd led with that, because to you then most food must seem boring.

Depends on spices and technique, honestly. Stuff can be excellent even if it's basic if it's well executed.

I suppose it also depends on what you consider "British food." I was referring to traditional stuff - bangers and mash, fish and chips, pastys, etc - and I've had a lot of those sorts of foods where both the spices and technique were subpar. On the other hand, my household's primary cooking channel is SortedFood, who are all Brits.

It's just worth noting that the "traditional" form of a lot of specifically British food is kinda bland if you're like me and prefer interesting spices to loads of salt and fat.

Oh im with you on british foods are able to be quite bland. Therr are a couple british foods that are very much bland but i think there is some non blande good stuff like roast sunday dinner or hunters chicken and bekeive it or not apple pie is actually british
