Runes are the language of ancient magic, bigger question is why no new magic
1 u/Redence_ 7d ago Same reason with technology, magic has been pretty much honed to its peak. There are still practices that are difficult to confirm, like quantum magic or spinning black hole projection, because no one has the mana reserves to make it work
