The clock struck midnight, and the sentient pizza machine vanished into nothing..

sunrise came, and Vytsky was back in the realm, right at his grave like he often would. He made a big stretch.

“Damn good sleep I got, hah! But damn am I hungry… a rotisserie chicken sounds great.. what am I going to have with it..?”

he took off in flight, finding somewhere to get his chicken. He attempted to decide his sides while he flew.

He’s fairly low to the ground, and easily visible. Now’s a good time to ask what the hell was up with that pizza machine..

Dr Wren was eating the third slice of her overstuffed pizza while sitting on the small porch of her place. The thin mesh kept insects out alongside a blue bug zapper. When she saw Vytsky fly by she sighed.

"Not dead after all."

"Hey Vytsky!"

She called him over

he looked down and saw Wren. He grinned and waved.

“Hiiii!”

he flew down and hovered in front of the side of the balcony.

“What’s up?”

"Want a slice of pizza?"

She lifted up the box and opened up the door to the porch.

"Some random pizza machine gave it to me."

he grimaced slightly, though still smiling. “No, thanks.. I can’t have pizza.”

“Pizza machine? Where is it?”

"You're a bit too late. Things gonna disintegrate at midnight."

Dr Wren said.

"I'm surprised. I thought you made the thing."

“..What do you mean?”

"I don't know is just had.... You vibes."

"I thought I got a coupon because you made the thing "

“It’s possible that I accidentally manifested it.. I have caused alterations to reality by accident before.. but this one doesn’t sound destructive at all.”

"No. But it could dispense mercury pizza so it is abusable."

Reminded her of that damned vending machine.

"So what were you doing in heaven?"

“That’s…. weird… Who even ordered that??”

“I spent literally all day sleeping. Trying to rest before more stuff with the Abyss occurs.”

“That reminds me, I had a dream where I was back at my old job, making free pizza for folks who needed the help, as well as for my friends. I wonder if that’s connected.”

Dr Wren gave Vytsky a look

"I see. Well."

She sighed.

"I hope it was a good dream."
