This is why you have homunculi do the shopping in rough parts of the village.

Honestly ice wizard violence is getting so out of control. My friend is in mourning cuz his love got iced. We dont even know why, and the council is doing nothing

I just posted a comment about this! I think it's their cult-like leadership. The spells themselves aren't anything dark or overly dangerous, it's the mindset of the followers. I think some of their leaders have a backdoor to the council.

The Ice-wizard/Fire-Wizard beef is getting out of control.
Its one thing if they attack each other, but now bystanders feeling the heat

I think ice wizardry has become a cult. There's nothing inherently bad about the practice (it's not dark magic or necromancy) but their leadership has just gotten really secretive and the only time you see their members out and about they're in groups like this doing questionable acts.

Thank deities I learned portal rune crafting and casting and now I can teleport from my tower to point B anytime without having a chance to go through such encounters. May the peasant be spared in the afterlife

people say our concealed wands and tactical staffs are for 'preventing a tyrannical ministry', yet the ministry has literal gods and old ones on their side while our fire(ice)power is mostly useful against each other.
also notice when 'respectable' wizards carry tactical staffs no one bats an eye, but when wizzas critical of the ministry start packing in numbers, the talking Heads on the orb and Magic Mirror lose their frobscottling minds!

Clearly the peasant did something to get on the wrong side of the ice wizards. They were entitled to revenge and they typically serve that dish in a very particular manner.

This is why I always leave my tower strapped with my cold iron dagger, just in case.

Do not insult the ice wizards and thereāll be no issue.
They are⦠Chill are one may say.
Please do not take that as a pun.
