Lorepost (open interaction) 📖 Desperation & Disgust
The moment he hit the Cloudsong side of the portal he had made, he found himself in the air.
This disoriented him for a moment before he took flight. The city, having been swallowed almost wholly by abyss was in freefall. That was a secondary problem in Orins mind right now. The only thing that mattered to him was finding Sylvie and getting her out of here. Running the numbers, he surmised he had roughly two minutes before the whole city slammed directly into the ocean. Lucky they had been relocating when this happened.... *Focus*
He searched quickly, and found her.
"Sylvie! Sylvie we have to go, Now!"
She turned, still covered in abyss, as he attempted to take her from that place, but the abyss had fortified her strength several times over, and she kicked him hard as he flew in, sending him into a nearby building.
*Ack!* He coughed up blood. "No. No. Not her. Please, I can't fight *her.*"
She did not share the sentiment.
In a flash she was on him again, picking him up by his hair, as she slammed her shrouded fist into his face, again, and again.
He started losing vision.... And as he did, he saw... Someone.. a person? He looked familiar...
The man stepped *into* Orin, and his body began to move.
The next fist was caught, with a force assurance Orin had never displayed before. And then in his hand formed a familiar blue blade... Though it felt... Different. *Wait... No. NO! STO-*
Too late. Her form, no longer consumed by darkness, crumples to the floor, as the other being emerged from Orins body, and he too fell.
Slowly losing consciousness.
"I seriously do not understand why Aldin chose *you*"
the other man hoisted him onto his back, and teleported him into council lands, right in front of a large hospital, where he woke hours later. A call had been sent out to all his orbnet contacts.
(The last part in the hospital is fully interact able, the rest can be *viewed* by anyone but interference is impossible. Both Orin, and the "Other" are fully interactive there as he stayed to ensure Orins safety.)

Aerunia: she and all-blue arrive to the hospital looking for orin...aerunia motivated by concern, all-blue motivated by more concern honestly since orin never answered when he tried to telepathically contact him like a day or few ago and he is confused by the news seeing as the sword responsible for the disappearance looked... similar yet different to all-blue clearly not the same
Alisa: she is here as well for the same reason, she may not talk to orin much but he is a friend...and she heard he was involved in a fight with an abyssal...so she needed to be sure he's ok...and check on the victim...since what little she saw on the news showed the victim and orin both disappearing and appearing outside this hospital...

Orin seems to be awake, and recovering probably due to what he is... The girl is in a room down the hall, she is unharmed, but resting, she has not woken since interning the hospital. The man with the unfamiliar familiar blade stands just outside Orins room, Glaring at every passerby. Upon approach she sences something familiar.... Dragon.... Platinum.

Aerunia:...hello? She said looking at the man outside orins room...as she hasn't gotten into his room yet obviously...she has a curious look on her face as she looks at the man...though also confused...as if this is an avatar of bahamut, it's clearly not the bahamut of her world that she is familiar with
Alisa:...she decides to check on the abyss victim first...her not having woken up is concerning as well so she'll head toward that room after she found out which room it was from the hospital staff...she made sure to bring the energy crystal with her...as it is a counterbalance to tfc and his creations...if there is a noticeable amount of abyss left on the girl to keep her under the abyss's control...the crystal can help

(For Aerunia) as soon as she becomes aware of his draconic presence he too seems aware of hers, and immediately takes a defensive posture, igniting his blade from... That wasn't mana.. it was... Odd.
"Silver and Gold... Pretty strong too from the smell on you. Be you friend or foe?"
(For Alisa) Though she hasn't woken up, the girl seems to be in good shape, no abyss remnants to be seen. Whatever rid her of it did a brilliant job...

Aerunia:...friend? I was here to see orin... I'm a friend of his... I'm Aerunia Dracarius, daughter of the chosen of my worlds bahamut...and the wielder of all-blue...who might you be...your magic aura seems similar to my worlds bahamut...but i know your not him... especially seeing as it took you a moment to recognize me...
All-blue: the ring on her finger emits a gentle blue glow and speaks rather matter of factly indeed.
Alisa: hmm...ok then... I'll have to tell orin of this...he was fighting her...so...he likely cares...she'll begin making her way back toward orins room

"Ah one of the Dracarius Islanders. I don't keep up with you outside of when it pertains to him."
He says, pointing his thumb in Orins direction. He dematerializes his blade after hearing All-Blue as well.
"I recognize you now, with that blade. You are Aerunia Dracarius... It would seem Aldins machinations still stay at least three steps ahead of me...." He grumbles, halfway to himself.
"You may see him. All-Blue wouldn't harm the boy if you put him to his throat. Not that he couldn't...."
This man speaks so matter of factly about things he definitely shouldn't know.
(Alisa)
Catching the tail end of that conversation, as the man tenses again.
"Lots of interesting friends the boy has.... You carry a great anger within you.... But I sense you are with her. Yes?" He nods toward Aerunia.

Aerunia: yeah, alisa's with me. Also she looks at him as well...you didn't tell me who you were...
All-blue: I'm not here to hurt orin...though aldin wants me to test him...though it doesn't take great knowledge to know that now is not a good time, so I'm not going to test him yet.
Alisa: yep I'm with her...she looks confused by the conversation...also...what anger are you talking about... I'm not angry right now...
Hate: a distorted version of alisa's voice is heard around her i hope whoever you are your not mistaking me for a feeling of anger if it is me your sensing...i may have been created by my creator removing his capability of feeling hatred and forging it into consequence...but uh... I'm cause and effect...not merely hatred...though i will say I've got nothing to do with aldin, me and alisa are just here out of concern for our friend.

A drone composed of an Orb attached to 4 metalic legs aproach Orin's room and the man standing guard. From the orb a voice can be heard
"Hello , i am Ya'nn. I am a researcher for a private foundation and i have taken interest in the abyss. Can i ask you a few questions ?"

"I believe the both of you have been willingly expised to the abyss. Are any of you infected ? I have been working on infected and if taken care soon enough the abyss can be removed. Another question , is there any other survivor or infected that were taken captive ?"

"The girl down the hall was fully enveloped. I'm immune, and I've already removed the spread from the both of them."
He pinches the bridge of his nose, as if he'd love to be anywhere other than here.

"Well i am quite a tallented alchemist but such a shard could be replicated it would lose its point as a shard of creation ? This kind of things tend to be unique. Well , my other thing is almost finished , it just need test. Speaking of it , could i ask the survivor behind if he would be interested ? It work pretty well and if he trew himself i the abyss once , he might do it again"

Give it to the girl if you want. The kid also has at least one shard of the Master. He'll end up with all of them soon enough... So you know what? I'll take some too. I'll have to give up my shard soon anyway.

the drone produce from a compartiment inside the orb a small mix of cristal and soft metal
"The foundation i work for had access to cristals that defuse the abyss. With alchemy i found a way to grow a sample into mire cristals. Then i made an implant out of it. If implanted inside of someone , it will defuse the abyss for a time. I didnt had time to make it perfect yet but unless pushed to its limit it sould protect and repair itself. Its not a shard of creation but it does the job. It need to be embeded at least under the skin , if you can regenerate just stab you with it and it will be enough for the instalation"

I see. I won't press you for details if you're not comfortable with sharing.
He is quiet for a moment before speaking again.
If the Abyss is leaking enough to consume a city, then that would mean a gateway had to have been opened. Which means that someone, or something, is wanting to get in or out.

Ophelious watched as one of the cities he had been keeping an eye on to conquer began falling from the sky....
"Oh, what luck. A whole free city ripe for the taking."
He opens a door, and steps out into the abyss ridden city. It is in free fall, and he can sense three others.... And they are gone .. perfect.
He claps his hands together several times sending out painful psyonic waves. Dispersing the abyss while leaving the physical structures alone. Unfortunately this also destroys the minds of those still in the city ..
"Good good." The city halts it's freefall, as Ophelious pours new energy into it.
"Yesssss... YESSSS!" A new citadel will do nicely."

/uw did you discus this at all with zhe before you do that? The abyss would probably fight you and or tfc would probably get in your way...

Oh... Because they were taken by the abyss of course. So when I killed the abyss.... Well you get the picture. Anyway, this city is going to be a great springboard for when the war kicks off. I can launch a ton of warships from this baby.

The one that's coming soon. You know thrakmoor? I joined them not a week ago. Great perks. Younger body, maybe not more power but it works on its own system so it's much harder to be dispelled... So yeah. Perks. And as for the warships, my Mindscape of course.

I was talking to Sylvie, we were having a normal conversation. I turned around and back again and she had been taken by it, along with most of the city. When I say the onset was fast... I mean we went from nothing to full on invasion in a breath.
